G4 on This Morning
With Philip and Fern after 10.30am. They are going to be asking them about those record contract rumours (probably won`t be allowed to say too much) but should be interesting anyway. Hope they get to sing (Silent Night would be lovely)

They were very good - diplomatic and sang beautifully.

Wow G4 on this morning Echoed up to hell. Seems they need all the help they can get to soften up there harsh tones.

The boys opened the show singing The Holy and The Ivy with Philip and Fern who joked they were now G6. Great long interview (l5 minutes).....the boys really looked stunning this morning.....black suits and white open necked shirts. Did a truly wonderful acapella version of When I falll In Love......I have still got the goosebumps!! Fern was swooning a bit too! Not much to say about the record contract rumours.....Matt said a few phone calls to Louis, nothing finalised yet. Said they are so busy, would like their first album to be diverse. I am still reeling from their wonderful singing.

The boys came across very well as usual looking lovely in their suits. Very diplomatic with their answers when asked about Steve and said they always got on well with him but Sharon didn't. They didn't even hear her comments during the show and only found out later.
No confirmation about a record deal (no surprise there). Confirmed they are tied to X Factor for three months as its only fair to the winner to let him have his time in the spotlight. They sang When I Fall in Love beautifully - started off just Jon, then Jon and Ben together and then all four. |

By no stretch of the imagination can you call their tones "harsh"

His voice does comeover as very harsh. I know its a personal thing but at times his voice can cut through me when not backed up by some base harmonies. |

I do think sometimes Ben;s voice could be more appropriate - when the other 3 sang alone on Nessum Dorma, Ben's voice was lovely - i think he was very under used throughout the show.
