Its true. They were in fact miming.

People should remember that the last 2 xfactor acts recorded many tracks for such occasions.

Sorry angelac But *some* fans really see a criticism in a post were none has been made

Go home and enjoy it as it was really nice

They did sound good, I'm not saying otherwise.

I know G4 fans dont want to hear it, but they WERE miming.

Yes Ben is the dark haired one

They all have lovely voices and its a matter of everyone having their personal favourites

How would you know I was saying the F word ??
FFS to me means flying fig' s

And I did not like you insinuation that I was on a wind up ether And no I am not one of the young posters as I can *take* and *give* a bit of criticism or banter about a singer that I *like*

I know what you are saying and its great you support your favourite, but they were miming, everyone knows it. I guess you will never agree with me, but you know I am right, even though you are a big fan of theirs and will argue otherwise

Those are not the words that come to my mind when I see FFS written! If those are not the words you meant then I accept that. I hate the arguments that go on on this site and mostly stay right out of it.

Acapella singers DO NOT mime. I can understand why you are saying this - after the Il Divo "miming" fiasco this morning. G4 were singing live. l00% If you were lucky enough to record it, please play it back

Its got nothing to do with supporting my favourite - I'm an honest person and if I thought they had mimed I would say so. They didn't. I think we'll agree to disagree eh?

....Den these people are trying their best to counter-balance the Il Divo miming fiasco earlier this morning. Let them believe G4 were miming........it makes them happy. We know the truth.........I have just played it back for the 3rd time........just wonderful

Thats fair enough, you are a fan of G4 - I understand.

And Penny, actually I didnt take part in the Il Divo thread and to be honest I'm not a big fan of theirs. I'd say that G4/Il Divo are pretty much the same in terms of ability.

Why cant G4 fans admit to these things and not turn every comment into a massive argument?!

Its not a bad thing that they mimed - even the best do it

I'm sorry but this post proves the point I was trying to make in my previous post. G4 fans get most upset when someone says something derogatory about G4 but then then use statments like fiasco to describe another act that they don't like. Where has objectivity and "live and let live" gone?

.......it`s only when something so obviously untrue is said about them (ie that their acapella singing was mimed). Of course we are going to have the right of reply. And how else would you describe the thread about O Holy Night but fiasco.......with a certain person accusing me of telling lies when I pointed out that Il Divo were miming, when they are accomplished singers and there was no need to.

I'm sorry but you did not describe the thread as a fiasco, you said"Miming fiasco" and did not include the word thread at any point. And it may have been mimed, I didn't see it, but if we were not there we do not know for sure....you are perfectly entitled to your opinion that it wasn't mimed but others are equally entitled to think it was.

You make it sounds like its down to me being right and nothing to do with fact. This is simply not the case!

i agree with you on this angelac. it was only towards the end that i began to appreciate matt and mikes voice, and i do think ben needs some exposure. he is as expressive as jon and can very well carry the melody himself being a tenor.

It's perfectly possible for a-cappella singers to mime. However, G4 were not miming on This Morning and nobody thinks they were. Don't you know when you are being wound up?

Just watched This Morning. The boys come across really well in interviews. Another excellent live performance from them too.
