I think I dislike Liberty more than Will. At least Will is a convincing creep, Liberty is just a completely pointless character. Only thing that is going to possibly hold my attention in this Dodger story is Jeremy Sheffield.

I just don't think Doug was stable enough to take the kids to the hospital. If he's sitting there half crying, what's that going to show the kids about the situation?
I mean, ok take them to the hospital, but only when you know that you're not going to break in front of them like he did, they shouldn't have to see that either

Just going from my nieces and nephews I think that taking them to see one of their parents in a coma would have been too much at 5 and 3 or however old they are this week.

agreed, kids imaginations are strong, and they (well Leah) could very easily hear somethinng that sounds worse than it actually is, I always think honesty is the best policy - not too much (like "your Dad might not wake up") but enough to answer their questions (like the tubes comment). But HO deff tried to show it as the wrong thing to do - I wonder what Ste would have done if it was Brendan and P (who may be anything from 6 to 13??!)

I think Doug did the best he could and overall it was quite a lovely scene. Maybe shouldn't have said that bit about Ste not making it but understandable given how upset he is.
