Tony Blair.

He and Pip have three things in common.

1) Both are sanctimonious.

2) Neither can say sorry.

3) Both specialise in lists, Blair had a list about WMD's which turned out to be false. Guess where i'm going with Schofields list.

The reality is St Pip may have undermined efforts.

you can not think it is acceptable to allege that someone is a paedophile to someone's work colleague based on nothing?

It wasn't based on nothing ... It was on the tinternet and we all know that is always accurate
I don't like or dislike him.. But do think what he did was stupid and very unprofessional. He is lucky he still has a job.

Quite simply, what he did with the list was unforgivable. He should be sacked immediately.

I like him. He was my first celebrity crush.
I don't think he is as bad as some people make out, I can think of people who irritate the hell out of me far more than Phillip Schofield.

I think it's fair enough you have that view
I am just sure he would never have done it to cause such a big problem no matter what people seem to think on DS and people asking for him to be sacked for flashing a card nobody could see and bringing up a subject everyone was talking about anyway and was out there on the internet..maybe ofcom will make him resign? who knows
I enjoy watching him on This Morning & Mr + Mrs and whenever they get guest presenters on This Morning they are not a patch on him. I don't see the smugness that others claim he constantly has. maybe these people want to watch this

well I feel sorry for anyone who thinks that is better

Of course I still like him. I've always had a crush on him. Did he make a mistake? Absoloutley, should he be strung up and fired? No!
Seriously I get fed up with the people on the internet who criticise others and pretend they are holier than thou.

I really like Philip Schofield, he seems very down to earth and genuine, he is pretty in touch with what the general public are thinking and is always polite but not sycophantic to the people he interviews.

I did see the episode of TM where he handed DC the list and it was pretty awkward to watch, you could see that the PM felt ambushed and I really felt "Can they do this?!" but it's not like he named names on TV. I think it was a misguided attempt at forcing the PM's hand in actually investigating the rumours.

I think perhaps some people have missed the point of what was wrong with what he did.
1. He got a list of names off the internet - this is NOT how an investigation should be conducted and just enforces in some people's minds (all his fans in particular) that these names are correct. We have since seen that at least one was not.
2. The PM is not investigating any allegations. That is up to the police and the legal system.
3. Phillip Schofield should have realised the implications of what he was doing - proudly boasting that it only took him 3 minutes to get a list of names. What a joke.
