While I'm very happy with the range of features on this box, the one thing that lets it down is the copying function.
Pretty well every current tv will play AVI,MP4,H264 from a usb, but Panasonic have failed to realise what an almost essential function this would be on a DMR-BWT720. An option to convert the DR program to AVI etc would not be beyond their capabilities, neither would it be asking to much to ask for an option to copy those files directly to a USB.
When I bought this box I had wrongly thought it had this function from one of the magazine write ups. I record a lot of football and it is a real nuisance and expensive, to copy to disc then convert on the computer to a compressed version.
