Is Helen Flanagan the toughest, most stoical woman that's ever appeared on the show?

Even Martina Navratilova looks wimpish in comparison with our Helen.

She's the sort of woman that helped us build an empire. Strong, resourceful, plucky and never makes a fuss about anything. She simply dusts herself down and gets on with it.

She is an inspired choice of contestant. Every camper will come away from this feeling a better person for having seen her in action. Natural female leaders pass this way rarely. We need to treasure the ones that do.

Helen I am in awe of you.

Purely for her stoicism, obviously.

We are not worthy to view her heroic deeds.
A Joan of Arc for the modern generation.
Surpassed in intelligence and virtue, only by the majesty of Katie Price.
Ma'am? We salute you. The MBE is in the post.

(NB: I am LOVING this thread!! )

She makes me want to be a better woman, someone we can all look up and admire. The Suffragettes would be so proud of the work she is doing in ensuring that women are not thought of as helpless, defenceless, dim witted creatures - she shows the world what it is to be a woman in a mans world. God bless you Helen.

Cast from the mould of Boadicea herself.

I'm reminded of Sigourney Weaver in 'Alien', in her underwear, battling the alien. Such courage...and now we see Helen - battling flies, up the jungle. It brings a lump to peoples' throats.

It brings a lump to more than people's throats...

If Captain Scott had taken her in his final party there's no question they'd have got to the South Pole ahead of Roald Amundsen's Norwegian party and got back to base camp safely!!

If she'd been on the Titanic, no way would it have sunk

Yes, we musn't forget Helen's effect on the less fortunate amongst us - those who are excited only by members of the opposite sex who cannot even remember their own name.

Yes she is , but she loves all the attention. If she did the trials and won them, no-one would vote for her anymore, and she does not want that.
