Samsung Galaxy Note 16GB 10.1

I asm looking for a Tablet to replace a notebook that just died and am looking at the Samsung Galaxy Note 16GB 10.1 inch.
Never having had a tablet can some one assist with what may be a simple question. I am guessing that you can charge via USB form a pc like you can charge an ereader but is it also possibe to purchase a maind charger for the Samsung?
Also does anyone have one of these and what are your impressions?

Yes you can charge through the pc.I have the Tab 2 and it performs well, but does not compare to my iPad 2 in general, but you have more options to configure, and use your tab the way you want it.In fact I'm finding more and more things you can do with the tab that you cant do with the iPad. I like it.And yes it comes with a mains charger.

I have the similar Tab2 10.1" and yes it should charge using USB, it'll be slow to charge this way I'd imagine as my Tab2 mains charger is rated at 2amps and a USB port can only supply 0.5amp max current so would take an eternity to charge it I'd imagine.

I also bought a Samsung car charger for about £8 and this also supplies 2amps and a second usb to 30pin Tab2 connector cable.

I note that other USB devices such as my Motorola Defy+ phone don't work with the 2amp Samsung charger, it seemst that it doesn't take enough current for the supply to work correctly.
