That's not how it works. Indeed, the point of
having two polls is that one can't assume the one who's the fewest people's favourite is also most people's most disliked. They're measuring completely different things.
To put it another way. If 100 people say X is their favourite, and 2 people say Y is their favourite, that tells you
nothing about what that 100 people think of Y beyond 'not their #1 favourite'. Y could, in fact, be almost everybody's
second favourite.
So, as you say, 550 people can vote in the two polls and 251 people can dislike Helen more than any other person in the camp; while 54 other people have her as an absolute favourite.
If anything it's a measure of her divisiveness - of the 550 voters, 305 have very strong opinions on her, with only 245 of them thinking she's neither the worst nor the best.
