Ta muchly for the spoilers, exactly who I thought would go has gone, and don't disagree with Nicky being bottom 2 either, that jive was a massive disappointment after the training clips looked half decent

It's a shame that site hasn't got the number of votes per contestant so we can see how close run, (or not) it is.

nicky and richard bottom two with richard leaving.

that's the right result imho. the show's getting more interesting now - i prefer it when there's not so many people in it.

I'm rather glad I was watching it on the computer, and didn't miss the dance, rather than the tv which OH was hogging. We'd been having transmission troubles when the Scotland rugby game was earlier on in the day, so it looks like they were still pressing the wrong buttons, come Strictly.

Sorry Richard went. Should have been Victoria - poor routine.

Thank you for the spoilers. Right result, although I was growing fond of Richard.

I think the right person went. Victoria's routine should have been brilliant with Brendan in charge, but I think it was the lack lustre song they danced to that was poor rather than the routine. Must say though that I didn't particularly like the stag leaps.
I like Victoria - but, she is totally out of her comfort zone on the dance floor and if you look at her first ever Strictly performance, she has come on leaps and bounds (pun intended!)

As much as I really like Victoria, I agree with you. You can see how much she is trying and works way too hard to try and get it right. But sadly she is not improving. She is getting worse each week! I think when someone as mentally psyched as Victoria (i.e tuned to win, working hard on something to achieve nothing but the right result), it is difficult because she is out of her comfort zone. She only has experience in the spotlight when she is winning. Therefore, because she is trying way too hard, she is making mistakes and looks uncomfortable.

I do love her persistent smile though. It clearly does seem she is enjoying being there and overall it will be a huge boost for her confidence.

The song wasn't a good a pasa doble song I agree. And the routine Victoria and Brendan did would have looked a lot better in Television Centre as it wasn't epic enough for Wembley.

Good morning everyone

I was here last night, but couldn't get the registration through in time so I could post - very much enjoyed this thread as I always do, and I'll be here next week. I'll bring food and drink of course!!

I felt it was Richard's time to go , and surely it has to be Victoria next .. I fear Louis needs to up his game or he could be in trouble, as does Lisa, shame because I love her and Robin to bits. Michael is a revelation, hope he continues to improve, Nicky also is growing on me though last night's performance was very indifferent. I cannot raise any enthousiasm for either Dani or Kimberley. For me, it seems to be getting clearer week by week that Denise and James are the likely winners

I was there too loved the show... fatally new perspective on how much goes into it.. And how hard the crew works.. But Claudia walked past me with the opening section and was it was hilkarious if anyone from Scotland was there not funny for them lol but apparently she didn't want to.go dogging either

Itbwas my first time, probably won't ever get chance again, but being there and meeting, Brendan, Nicky, James, Lisa, Bruno, len, Richard, Erin (after they went) was so.humbling, and I got to meet artem

I went last night and although I'm not sure how well it came across on screen, I had the most amazing time! I've applied to go to every series and special imaginable and so when the email came last thing on Friday to say I'd got tickets, I couldn't believe it.

Loved every minute but was shattered by the end! The pros and celebs I met were really lovely and friendly which just added to the whole experience for me.

Thanks for the spoiler, the news was as expected. He was a nice enough guy, it was the incessant touching that I found a little off putting....

That's an important point. She was top of the 'leader board' of hours spent in training. If she was that good she would sail through the competition with very little training.

I think Hayley might be suggesting Denice 'oversells' the fact she is 'less confident' than she really is. If your background is musical theatre then picking up a new routine is easier than for someone who is an actress or presenter or sportsperson.

I see that. I still like Denice though and hope she does well.

Thanks for the spoiler Good result I think. Prediction for next week is Victoria v Lisa, former leaving.

Has everyone been able to leave the naughty step now? Suprised that the banter and chats about other shows which happens on this thread got a black mark. I don't watch the other shows but don't mind that chat about them.

I had to leave early last night but checked in with my phone to see who'd gone, there is no way I would be able to survive until tonight to know!

It'll be his last chance on ITT on Monday. For Erin's sake I hope he's in a straight jacket.

Good result! I've only just seen the spoiler as I was watching the Stones on BBC4 and forgot to check! I'm not that keen on the Wembley show and prefered it from Blackpool but that's just me.
Thanks for the spoiler - its always much appreciated Victoria will have to pull it out of the bag next week if she wants to stay in and Lisa is going to have to tighten up the footwork.

I'm looking forward to the scones, cream and jam next week. ( cream first and then jam please!) and will have to avoid the spinny chairs or I'll be sick.

Even Kimberley had a NON DANCING part in Shrek. As I have said before, learning a dance routine is difficult and many of the celebs find it hard to remember the steps!!! Denise can learn a routine an awful lot quicker than any of the other celebs due to her vast experience. They both dance like Professional Dancers, their routines are great but it is just NOT FAIR to have her in SCD as a beginner. How can Denise say she sat in a chair as Roxie!!!”

Kimberley went to a stage school too and even taught there, she performs on stage with girls aloud so she is used to picking up choreography and she is used to being on stage, don't forget she was in Les Mis so may be people should also be mentioning her in the same way as Denise.

Tobe honest I am sick of people bemoaning that Denise is a dancer , every year the same comments come out about someone in the show.
It's an entertainment show, enjoy it for what it is, the contestants don't seem to be moaning about unfair advantages

Denise had dance training at stage school - as does any would be actor - BUT she has also starred in West End shows, in particular Chicago where she played Roxie Hart.

And she DANCED.

So she is not looking back to school age memories for footwork - her experience is much more recent.

You might as well have Bonnie Langford or Rosemary Ford on the next series. Yes, this is a ballroom dance competition, but I suspect Denise knows many of the steps already and clearly has a considerable advantage over the other celebs, particularly the non show-biz ones like Victoria and Louis.
