Well, that's what I'll be thinking when I see her arrive mid air on a bike before starting her dance. I think it's an absolutely daft idea as the bike doesn't even resemble the type she rode at the Olympics.

I absolutely loathe set ups / props like this.

waste of time / dance opportunity.

and it doesn't sound like it was their idea either...

I wonder how much of the dance is going to be wasted on this.
We all know she can ride a bike .

From Friday's ITT, it looks like there are going to be a lot of props tonight. I suppose the producers are making the most of the extra space they've got and are concentrating more on the entertainment side tonight. Although Len may explode if there's too much "faffing around", they have had cannons, celebs flying through the air, and all sorts of props in previous years.

I'm guessing the Dance {1min 30sec} doesn't start until Victoria gets of the Bike.

Victoria on a bike
Richard has speedo clad men
Kimberley has an enormous dress
Denise is being carried on by 'Adonises'

Pretty sure they will all be doing something nuts.

what is this obsession with all this flying it just wastes time and adds nothing to the dance,

in this case it'll just put more pressure on Victoria, perhaps they think she's not going to win so why not sod up her dance,

I wonder if they would do it to Denise,

May be a stupid question but with big props like the bike, does that mean that if Victoria were in the b2 they'd have to set up the bike again and do the whole thing the same? Last year, with the canon, there was no dance off. I'm not saying Victoria will be in the b2 and I'm sure there are loads of other equally daft and time consuming props coming tonight. Just thinking that if I were in the dance off I'd want to be able to dance and not have to faff about with such things.

Bad decision, the "Olympics" colours dress theme seems like a desperate attempt to keep Victoria in the competition as the BBC must think she's good for the ratings.

More viewers doesn't necessarily equate to more votes for her.

Will they be dancing to this?

Are the "big sets" a way to reduce the perceived size of the stage?

Going on that photo the dress is much less of a union jack than I expected. Unless it looks like a flag from the back. I don't know that I'd have thought of the connection of they hadn't pointed it out on ITT. It looks weird though. I'm a bit underwhelmed by the costumes, which look like any other week, except of course we haven't seen Kimberley's huge electric dress.
