Think this guy is different from the current male acts out there, and also isn't trying to be anyone else he is unique.

Who do you think are the main contenders ?

The main contenders for me:

AlunaGeorge
Bastille
Charli XCX
Chvrches
Daughter
Foxes
Haim
Laura Mvula
The Neighbourhood
Nina Nesbitt
Savages
Tom Odell

I initially thought Gabrielle Aplin would be in with a good chance, but I think The Power of Love going top 20 might disqualify her?

Hobbie Stuart has been picked by The Chart Show as the one to watch in 2013.

My five have been the same since the summer so hopefully i'm not completely off the mark:

Gabrielle Aplin - predicted this one back in April and subsequently booked her for a gig in June. She's brilliant. Even spoke to her about the chance of winning this and she said she thought she was in with a shout and despite "The Power of Love" hitting Number 5 this week; Emile Sande did well in the Polls last year after Heaven and Read All About It Charted in the months before.

Josh Kumra - his forthcoming tunes are brilliant; think a cross between James Morrison and Ben Howard. Check out his next single; "Waiting For You" which has already racked up half a million hits in just over a week.

Charlie XCX - she's got the right look and she's adapted an electro-pop sound that worked for Marina & The Diamonds.

Bastille - a quality band who already have the backing of Radio 1 (always a great sign)

Peace - check out their "EP Delicious" ... if it's anything to go by - these guys should be set to release an album to watch out for in 2013
