James is a latin specialist and has never shone in the ballroom dances. He is technically correct but moves stiffly with straight legs and takes small steps. Denise could have done with Brendan for a partner - he is a true 10-dance man. Still, Denise and James are doing well.

It is ridiculous to suggest that Denise is a better dancer than James.

However, in the particular instance of the Charleston, which is not a ballroom dance and in the context of this choreography to suit a stadium, which James would not have done on his own, she was actually the better dancer/performer, Don't expect it to happen again any time soon.

Love the fact that a celebrity like Denise, who is just a general showbiz entertainer, who has some general dance training like all showbiz artists like Kimberley, Jason, Jill, Kara etc can perform and entertain so well in a speciality like ballroom.
