She doesn't design her dresses.

I thought so too. And compared to Louis, they can't do silly gymnastic moves or incorporate lifts (crowd pleasers). They deserved all the nines. Don't know what people are on about her being overmarked???

Thanks for your apology, I am not being critical about her height really, (kylie is one sexy lady) its just that her dancing, for me, is restricted by her lack of height , sorry.

Are you really a 53 year old male ?

I'm puzzled because you remind me of a rather young girly girl stamping her foot when her friends don't like the same boyband

I'm agreeing with this as well.

Exactly. The OP is criticising things completely outwith Dani's control.

Oh yeah, because War Drobe are so good at dressing people according to their shape Like she has any choice in what she is forced to wear.

6 - Lisa & Robin, Louis & Flavia, Nicky & Karen
5 - Richard & Erin”

So in your first post (and thread title) you say Dani was overmarked, yet you also agree with Natalian that a 9 was the right score for her Make your mind up!

Denise is brilliant but I cannot stand the Charleston its not a ballroom dance and the music certainly wasn"t Charleston music......... \so \i agree 10 was too high for this she should have received this for Viennese waltz and/or Paso

If Kimberley's samba was worth the same marks as Lisa & Robin's, then I'll pickle me walnuts....

I agree with you about Kimberley. I enjoyed her dance tonight it was fun but I enjoyed a lot of the performances tonight despite most of the celebs not doing a really good job of dancing wel - most of the routines were good and most put on a good show. I felt she didn't look as though she's improved much. I think she has the ability to improve and wonder whether she's putting the hours into training? Maybe she is I don't know, I just feel she ought to have improved more by now. There's a distint lack of improvement all round I feel in this series.

Well, it is 'sort of' a ballroom dance as one of the dances from which the quickstep is derived.

I agree with you that the music choice was abysmal - that isn't uncommon on SCD and I wish they would pick better music as it would make it so much easier for the celebs to learn.

However, I don't think that you can deduct marks simply because it is a charleston or because the music choice was bad (even if these things might detract from your enjoyment). Denise danced brilliantly despite these things (rather than danced badly because of them).

Ah, so these are the opinions of you and your wife ?

Which one of you is the judge, coach and brilliant dancer, her or you ?

I would * ahem * reveal my own credentials but think it's a bit of a daft thing to do, because it doesn't make my opinion more valid than anyone else's

So which is it? She was overmarked, or the 9s were right

Or is this entire thread just an excuse to say you don't like Dani?

Oh, and you'll find the apostrophe two keys to the right of the 'L' on your keyboard, rather than on the '2' key...

Good point of view, but Craig on ITT said everything had to gel. to score a 10 which probably explains his 9

Me too! I voted for them. Thought they were great.”

As did I SheShe Not taking any chances after Kim's shock appearance in the bottom two last week!

Hello gorgeous Where have you been? This series hasn't been the same without your smooches I thought I was supposed to play hard to get, not you!

I must confess that whilst I don't love them, I did love Denise & James's Charleston. It was so original and it was nice to see some swivel action at last.

I'd have had Louis higher up than Nicky & Lisa (referring to your placings here). But he's not progressing as much as I'd hoped.

I think only a few people are claiming Dani was overmarked SCD-O. But she's seen as more of a contender now, so it's to be expected! Certainly, most the people on my Twitter timeline thought it was a terrific Quickstep.

As for Louis, I can't blame Flavia too much for incorporating some gymnastics moves into the routine. It was Wembley after all, and she wanted to put on a show. For me, it was just quite subdued as Quicksteps go. It wasn't lively enough.

I thought Dani's quickstep was super (although I will concede that some of the long shots made it difficult to see everything), she was marked fairly (particularly considering some of the marks given to others) and she was deserving of second on the leaderboard.

That is all.

I will never tell because all my friends in the non app thread will be blown away by my revelation and you will begin to treat me differently and bow to my superior knowledge
