Or is this entire thread just an excuse to say you don't like Dani?

Oh, and you'll find the apostrophe two keys to the right of the 'L' on your keyboard, rather than on the '2' key...”

Dani is very accomplished but I wish she would wear full length outfits - they are so much more elegant.

Whatever gave you that idea!

We might have been missing the swivel action this series - but imo this Charleston from Ali Bastion and Brian Fortuna knocked all others - past and present - out of the park

Truly if the routine from Denise and James had grabbed me I would say so (albeit through gritted teeth) but it didn't - all I saw was artifice.

I hope this week was a mere blip for Louis and Flav - I'm currently refreshing the spoiler thread minute by minute.

Please let us see the end of Richard.

Dani was the only one I thought was marked fairly actually lol. Everyone else was overmarked. But to each his own.

You are Ian Waite and I claim my £5.

Dani is usually undermarked. They like the ringer Van Outen, and always overmark her.

I don't mind Denise, but there is no journey there - been good from week 1, so others will probably get the public vote because of the journey factor. She may not get to the final IMHO.

I hope that not many people are ever judged by you in a dancing competition if your main criteria is their height, their tattoos and their dress.

Only tall non tattooed and in your opinion suitably dressed people ever stand a chance of winning anything.

If I were you I would be worried about my job as a judge now you have declared such a bias.

No scratch that we Len's tendency to over mark tall sportsmen, you should be a shoe in for SCD if he ever leaves.

Come on, you know us better then that, we'll just point and laugh

Best give up my future career as dancer just in case I've got the OP juding me at some point, being the same height as Dani I've got no chance

So who do you coach isledance? I'd infer from your previous posts that it would only be tall professional dancers? I compete in ballroom at a fairly low level (medallist) and am slightly taller than usual, but I would be very discouraged by your comments if I were shorter.

Anyway for me, I wasn't overly enamoured of Dani and Vincent's quickstep but that was a style issue. I'm not keen on Vincent's quickstep choreography. I don't like competitive quickstep very much either, as I'm not keen on the fast moving hops and skips etc. I prefer the more basic style.

Well said. Dani & Vincent did the dance of the night for me.

Denise actually danced better than James but 3 10's no way.

Agree with you completely. I was at Wembley last night. Dani and Vincent were outstanding and judging by the applause, the rest of the audience thought the same. Amazing how a bit of zooming out can cover up the blemishes in Denise's dance which was good but not perfect.

I think she is consistantly improving. Not enough to win maybe but she is becoming a good each way bet for the final, especially with Vincent's choreography.

All judges have a criteria for how they judge and subsequently mark if you judge a singing contest you choose according to the style of voice and performer singing that song, in ballroom dancing I happen to believe that smaller couples are better at Latin and taller couples at standard or ballroom, not always of course, but that is my opinion ! Sorry !

Great news.

But now that you've found the apostrophe you might want to use it when appropriate.

You might want to google for:

Difference between it's and its

You should be aware that people are judging you on your poor English. I just thought I would help out.

No sorry i did not say this I said in my opinion taller ballroom dancers look better than shorter dancers and in latin shorter dancers in the main are more compact and are suited to this style (but not in every instance)!

Thanks so much, this is a comment forum and I do not pretend to be competent at keyboard typing, its quite funny how strong opinions are met with sarcasm and downright insulting replies from the Mensa contributors.....

Right place in the leader-board.

So what if she is not tall & willowy doing a ballroom dance? Some folk seem to have an issue with the perfect proportions for each type of dance. The vast majority who watch & spend money voting don't care about such things. All they want is to be entertained and will vote for whoever inspires them to pick up the phone.

Kimberly was a lot more expressive this weekend but her core is still weak. Don't see Dani getting pulled up for a weak core.

The QS was my favourite ballroom dance that Dani has done but there was one part that Dani looked as if she was struggling to keep up and Vincent was having to work too hard to keep her going. I noticed it in training and just as she got to that part and you could see her begin to struggle the camera switched to an overhead shot. She was lucky that it was at Wembley. It would have been more difficult to hide in the studio. One of the pros who used to be on Strictly spotted it too and tweeted. It amazes me that the judges in the arena failed to comment on it. They have the best view after all. I probably wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't seen her do it in the training room at the same part. This year has been one of the worst years for selective blindness and that includes Craig. He used to be so honest but this year sadly he is just as bad as the rest.

I really liked Dani and Vincent's QS. Loved the music and styling as well, it all came together nicely. I did think she got a little behind (but not enough to spoil the dance).

My main comment about Dani is that she has a very tight upper back, which gives her a beautiful contained strength but no real expression, which Vincent is going to have to continue masking with good choreography.

Good point by gritty.

Infinitely preferable to floppy though. In my eyes. And a positive advantage in many, many styles. And Vincent is a master of choreography!

How could she be awful every week and can go to final? You are entitled to your opinion, ofcourse. But awful is not the word to describe her dance.

Imo,she was brilliant every week and should have won last year series.

I'm fan of Kim and Pasha too,but if we have to compare,Chelsee's samba was far far better, better than anyone else's i've seen.

On topic,I think Dani was rightly marked and so was Kimberley. Lisa was overmarked. I was bored by Denise's charleston.
