4. Bewildered by the comments/tens given for DeKneeze.
5. I was dreading Wembley and I was right to. It sucked balls.”

Please don't put thoughts of retirement into Sir Bruces mind that would be terrible.

No you're right. God forbid an 84 year old should retire!

Week 7 saw Strictly Come Dancing going to Wembley with the dancing themed on The Decades. After all the hype it was disappointing with the huge size of Wembley and the production over-whelmed the dancing. The venue was too big and noisy and the intimacy of SCD was lost. Blackpool next year please! However the costumes never disappoint and here are the Fashion Police views.

Best Dress of the Week: Natalie Lowe. Score 9.
A gorgeous goddess dancing with Michael Vaughan in the American Smooth. The dance was overmarked but the dress made up for it.

Best Dance of the Week: Denise Van Outen and James Jordan. Score 10.
Wonderful theatrical costume in stunning blue and gold for the Charleston dance with fab Egyptian headdress. Queen Nefertiti would have approved.

Best Couple of the Week: Dani Harmer and Vicent Simone. Score 10
A partnership made in heaven and the couple I enjoy most. The Quickstep was wonderful and they used the floor of Wembley to the best of their ability. Loved the 60′s outfit in pink.

Blooper of the Week: Lisa Riley. Score 3.
Lisa looked like an orange and pink tasselled lampshade doing her Samba dance. She’s a vivacious girl and is totally loveable. We hope she stays in the competition for a long time.

Worry of the Week: Louis Smith
He and Flavia Cacace just don’t have chemistry! I thought Louis should be in the final but am now having doubts. Watch this space.

No surprise Richard Arnold was voted off this week, it was his time to go. Next week it should be Victoria Pendleton. Yes, I know she’s the nation’s sweetheart and a stunner but she is rather wobbly at dancing which is a surprise. She certainly didn’t wobble on her bike.

Looking forward to next week.

1) While I knew it would happen, I didn't think any dance this week deserved 10s (especially since Denise has danced better in the past and didn't deserve 10s then either lol).

2) Dani and Vincent continue to be my favourite on the dancefloor, but they're quickly becoming my favourite off it too (something that hasn't happened since Kara and Artem). Shock, I might be *gulp* emotionally engaging with Strictly again!

3) Nicky is morphing into Craig what's-his-face-from-Corrie what with his inability to see his own limitations.

4) Louis might be straying into Matt Baker territory with the gymnastics instead of dancing thing.

5) Wembley is the worst possible place on earth to film a dancing show, unless you don't mind not being able to see people dance.

I think your post would be better posted elsewhere, as this is the '5 thoughts' thread. Maybe you should start your own thread and add to it each week.

I know what you mean! I'm becoming quite emotionally attached to them, especially after tonight's ITT. I really care about them and will be ecstatic if they go far and devastated if they get knocked out.

1. Next week we'll be watching through reversed binoculars to emulate the magnificent biggitude of Wembley.

2. Scouring the dictionary for superlatives to describe Louis' efforts, I find that 'meh' will comfortably suffice.

3. I was innocently scraping my nails down a blackboard whilst trying to stuff a cat into my cello and I accidentally recorded the next Girls Aloud single.

4. Karen Hauer should be available on the NHS.

5. Bikes for Vicky? Pommels for Lou? The return of the Evil Notdead? Really? How bad does this show have to get before it stops being good?

God I hate that expression and I hated it just as much when it referred to Cheryl Cole.

1. Capes, matadors and bulls yes - bikes no
2. Denise! Stop outshining James
3. Another chance to find out that Blackpool kicks Wembley's ar*e
4. The audience should be able to gong the band - anyone who hits a bum note or screeches inappropriately should be jettisoned
5. I'm liking wardrobe's sense of humour but it should stop now before someone gets hurt

1 JohnfromWales should be on the NHS as laughter-therapy and WE MISS HIM!!!!
2 I like Victoria. So there. Even if she can't dance to save her life.
3 My cat being strangled in a cello is far more mellifluous than any Girls Aloud number. And I have tested this at home! Before you ask.
4 If I never see Richard again it'll probably be too soon. (Eyes closed for the Final group-get-together-athon then!)
5 There is no 5.

Indeed, aye indeed - as you well know, Mrs F, I rise above the baser instincts, which makes me a fish out of water in the JfW household. My criticisms of both Louis and Kimberley were met with stern responses this week and I'm not sure which hurt more; the eyebrow from the left or the pencil from the right.

1. Denise - wonderful, I was amazed at the skill.
2. Louis - deary me - will he ever really shine?
3. Richard - don't remember, watching the actual dancers, purely for their skill like.
4. Michael, lovely overall look, not good on closer inspection, bit of a pteradactyl thing going on.
5. Lisa actually scared me, thought I was in a funfair - but perhaps it was just the outfit that was terrifying.

1. Victoria was a UNION JACK BIKER and rode her bike in a BIKE RACE!
2. Lisa is starring in Groundhog Day.
3. Apparently they swing through the desert in Egypt on vines.
4. Karen choreographed Nicky escaping - foresight?
5. I only remember the turtles with fondness.

6 (if I may add one from Saturday)- Lisa's dress made her look like a family sized Tequila Sunrise.

1. Loved Denise's dance, without grumpiness or doubt (for the first time). It was superbly, animalistically, weird and vibrant. James' rope swing...
2. If we save Nicky's hand prints, can we burn Wembley to the ground?
3. Few survived the floor size and light show. Fewer survived the long lens: Dani, Denise, Kimberley, Michael are my four.
4. Is it right to use other dancers as props, even in fetching yellow micro-garb?
5. Loved the singer who lapsed into Gogol Bordello style at the close of La Vida Loca. Surreally good.

1. Hated the Speedos and thought most of the costumes were ghastly

2. Didn't like the lighting spinning on the floor, which detracted from (or disguised?) the dancing

3. Loved Denise's Charleston (which is saying something for me since it is my most disliked dance)

4. Didn't like Louis doing his pommel horse thing - Just Dance!

5. Loved Lisa's energy but the dance and choreography were dire

PS ! (so much to say!) Loved Michael's dance but goodness there was much to pick up on!

and PPS (sorry!) couldn't stand the stupid bicycle thing!

Number 4? A great big huge fat NO! I really didn't like that - a couple of them did it - NO for me!
