haha I loved the way Rylan put the cards on the table, telling Gary how it is, its true what he said about singers miming in the real world and then he digs a hole in Garys heart by saying his too skinny to be Gary, classic moment

They may mime on stage but at least most of them can sing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is making fun of someone's weight funny, Gary is in much better shape than Rylan anyway, Rylan said in an interview that he wished he had guns like Gary

Because Gary was fat and unattractive before.

I think the weight comment was unnecessary, rude and slightly offensive. Things like that can really ruin peoples self-esteem (even if Gary did mention Tulisa's breath). To make up for it, Gary, I think you have always been gorgeous.

He did go through a very difficult time in his life where he put on a lot of weight if people had made fun of him then would you think that was hilarious because I wouldn't.

He only said that he was skinnier than Gary.........I'm skinnier than my daughter but I'm not calling her fat for heavens sake

I thought it was fair dinkum. I realise (as does the rest of the viewing public) that Gary doesn't like Rylan very much, and to be fair, Rylan has taken the comments on the chin week after week. He had a good opportunity to answer back, and it may have been a little shallow but I thought it was funny as anything!! He deserved some criticism, though I have to admit, I preferred the banter last year between Gary and Johnny

Hopefully your husband hadn't been saying not so nice comments to you week after week.

Rylans quick comeback was fabulous considering what he has been taking from Gary over the weeks

Gary Barlow has just (unless scripted) done Rylan a massive massive favour by reacting like that.

It was the absolute best The fact Gary got mad has most likely encouraged lots more people to vote for Rylan because they want to see more of their rivalry.

We don't mean hilarious as in OMG he called him fat, what some people may have found hilarious is Rylans quick response to Dermots question on which Take That member he was copying, issues regarding weight are a serious matter, it's just a bit of banter and Gary took it well, everyone knows the type of relationship Gary and Rylan have...

The Rylan and Gary love/hate relationship has been a saving grace for this series. I think it's totally scripted but I still quite enjoy it.

I do agree with you I enjoy the banter between Gary and Rylan as well, I like them both and they do get on off stage I just didn't like the way all the Gary haters responded, because Gary was funny as well

It was a funny exchange and they were both laughing, I loved it when Rylan got back on the treadmill, he is funny.

But as you have said and as all of us on here at DS know, it's all a bit of fun banter, it's just when someone doesn't like someone, ie the haters, they'll make a big deal out of anything, even if it's light hearted, but too all the Gary haters out there, looks like his having the last laugh because he sure looks good the way he looks know, i'm sure if we were too look at how we looked in the past, we wouldn't like what we see. Gary fought his demons and looks great now on TV
