The turtle beech ones are excellent.
I use the PX3 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Turtle-Beach...231641&sr=8-10 which costs £55 (I managed to find them at £30) You can however also get the better PX5 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Turtle-Beach...3231641&sr=8-4 which are £110 |

The PX5 will certainly be more feature-rich: bluetooth, voice disquising (troll tool) etc.... But the Pulse set looks better for me, and has a built-in mic.... it depends what you want, Personally I don't use headsets so I'm the worst person to be contributing to this thread!

Another plus for TB is that it works with the 360 and PC too if that's important for you. Both headsets seem very good around the £100 mark and you would probably be happy with either, I just know from personal experience that the TB headset is great and mine isn't the 7.1 version. You also get a really nice plastic carry/storage case with it and a really long USB cable for charging. |

The mic is fantastic too, I play multiplayer games with mates and we can chat away for ages with no breakup or anything. |

I have the original Sony wireless headset and its fantastic. Excellent sound quality, has good mic, it's wireless, so easy to set up. Has built in chargeable batteries that last and does not take long to charge

Got the Turtle Beach PX5 and they are excellent. No more wires everywhere like my previous set of Tritton AX Pro's.
They have various presets but i'm happy with the standard preset |

Am I best off buying rechargeable batteries for the headset and how long will I get out of a fully charged up set? |

If its like the PX3s it uses a built in litium battery, you just charge with a USB cable like you do with PS3 controllers.

Thanks for all the advice Gormond and others, got the PX5's in the end, loving them, makes the Black Op's game and such like that much better. Wouldn't be without them now.

The new official headset is out on Friday & can be had for under £100 http://m.hotukdeals.com/deals/sony-p...vember-1377389
I used to have the old version & thought it was really good and I'd expect this to be an improvement on it too |
