OK peeps - play nice; one thread each; no peeking
What should be on the first album? Let the River Run (Carly Simon, theme from Working Girl) |

cos I thought of something else!!
I think they would do a great job of Dolly Parton's "9 to 5"!
Ooh and having read Spellbound's post below, something opera-y would be cool! Something from "Aida" maybe, I love Aida!!!! xverso xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |

Definitely need some of the stuff they've done on X Factor, I'd love Creep to be on it, and Circle of Life. Maybe Nessun Dorma, and another popular opera song, like the Pearl Fishers duet. Maybe they'll do Vienna, as a tribute to DS ![]() I'm quite looking forward to being suprised. I hope it's as varied as possible! |

I hope they don't just to songs from the show, although we did see a snippet of Tear In Heaven which sounded good.

Something new and written just for them. If I wanted all cover versions, I would buy Pinky and Perky (older members will know what I mean
)

Not that it would have affected them in terms of votes,as those people who slated Creep are hardly the kinds who would have voted for them.

I would love Vienna to be included - as a tribute to Team G4 who tried so hard to get them to sing it

"Creep" has to be on the debut album, but we do want to see some new original material, anyway we have to wait and see what Mr S Cover Cowell does with Steve first? album.

2 songs (that haven't been mentioned I don't think) that I think they would do amazingly. 'Loverboy' by Queen and 'God only knows' by the beach boys. WOW.

Do it again by the Beach Boys would also be a good one I think but God Only Knows would be amazing. This might sound a bit bizarre but what about some Elvis? Something like Always on My Mind or Suspicious Minds would be fab. I know some elvis fans might get a bit funny about it but I love Elvis and think they would do a great job. Or, how about Beyond the Sea?
Some of the music by the Divine Comedy might be good as well (not National Express!), perhaps Everybody knows except you or Tonight We Fly? |

Have yourself a merry little Christmas for a Christmas album would be wonderful.....
Or most Andy Williams... maybe Music to watch girls by or Can't take my eyes off you..... As long as they leave off Britney Spears...

I think the album should be a combination of covers, new songs and some Opera. I would love to hear Vienna and Life On Mars done by G4.

I would love them to do 4 minutes and 33 seconds of silence by John Cage - I'm sure they would do it justice.
Hey - they could even do an extended remix lasting say 53 minutes and 24 seconds
