Just wondered how many of the celebs took dance classes before the programme? You do get some who look like they learnt everythings beforehand (Denise ...... me thinks)

only one I'm aware of is Austin Healey series 6, who took a few lessons before series started. I think Pamela Stephenson had some dance training as well

Denise has had "musical theatre" dance training. I wouldnt be surprised if Lisa and Dani and Sid had some as well

but if Strictly was restricted to those who hadnt done any sort of dance training....it would be difficult to find celebs.

Ricky Whittle notoriously took salsa lessons before his series. Matt Baker also was intensively trained in paso doble and jive for Blue Peter.

Then of course you have people who did "specials", like Kara, Harry and Fern.

Believe it or not, Penny Lancaster was said to have had quite a bit of training in preparation for SCD the year before she actually did it - she then got pregnant and did the show a year later and much good the lessons did! Many of the celebs have danced a lot before. Kelly Brook and Alesha Dixon had certainly both taken salsa classes.

I seem to remember that Zoe Ball took lessons before her series officially started

and Tom chambers took tap classes or something

I thought it was common knowledge that Kimberley had been partaking in Dance classes in preparation for this series?

I don't know if he has taken "classes" as such but some of Louis' training routines would have a lot in common with those a ballet dancer would do

Peter Shilton had ballet training (he was sent there in his goal keeping days to keep him light on his toes)
