How do you save ringtones to the phone without using SMS?
I have made some ringtones using Polyphonic Wizard and copied them to the phone using ActiveSync and a USB cable. I placed the new ringtones in the Windows directory on the phone so that they appeared in the list of ring tones available.
I can then set the ring tone to my new copied file and everything works fantastically.
However, whenever I turn my phone off, the ringtone file (.mid file) disappears and my default ringtone is reset to one of the standard ring tones!
Anyone care to tell me how to get my ringtone to stick?
