Boy, am I bored by the relentless fun, fun, fun, gurn, gurn, gurn routines of Lisa and Robin. The first time it was a pleasant surprise that she could dance and it was indeed fun to watch. But now I actually have to go out of the room when they're on, returning only to throw the cat at the telly (not really, cat-lovers) when I see the judges' ridiculously inflated marks. Are they actually watching her feet? It would be excellent work in a village pantomime but nothing more elevated than that.

Well they received the longest standing ovation from the audience so they still clearly have it! I was hoping for a bit more polished dancing technique, didn't see it but still enjoyed the show they put on.

Yes, same old routine this week. Even Nicky was better than her - he was flat-footed and not very good, but at least he attempted a jive. Maybe he should put on a few pounds and grin like a loon. I hope she goes soon.

I couldn't believe the unwarranted praise for her last night..... To me it looked as though she went totally wrong at one point - and not one of the judges remarked on it..

She is turning into a one trick pony..... That Samba looked like the Charleston and the Jive, and the CHA Zcha she has done.....

I was gobsmacked at the 8s across the board. It looked like she went wrong twice and there was very little technical samba content compared to other sambas we've had (it seemed more disco/hustle to me)

the judges seemed to be scoring based on her performance of the dance rather than the technique/content.

If they're going to do that, then really they may as well not bother and just go straight to the public vote

It was dreadful. Got the proceedings off to a very bad start for me. Couldn't believe the scoring and didn't pay much attention to the rest of the show.

You can gurn as much as you like but the dancing was execrable.

Well according to the judges it fine to have fun fun fun and go worng if you are Lisa ,If on the other hand you are Louis then it has to be perfect and not a toe or digit out of place .Double standards at their very highest was in action last night

That samba was nothing compared to nimble kimbles!! Can't believe she scored so high for it! Saw no samba moves at all!!

I can't agree more with the posts on this thread. Maybe this is not PC, but I believe she is getting inflated marks so that the judges cannot be regarded as "fattist" (is that a word?)

Her footwork is poor, and to be non-PC again, when she is in hold, her literal size means that she (and poor Robin) cannot get anywhere near a correct frame.

I am also fed up with the gurning. Let's all be happy clappy! But when, a few weeks ago, she was left until the last moment to be saved by the vote, she looked like a miserable sourpuss (which I have heard is her usual face when the cameras are not on her), as opposed to every other contestant who puts on a brave face in the same situation.

The sooner she goes the better.

The 'samba rolls' were appalling but not mentioned at all by the judges. I cannot imagine them ignoring that with anyone else.

I really want her to go now.

Yes, she makes mistakes and it isn't mentioned, other contestants have a hair out of place and get hauled over the coals for it.

All her dances are the same, week after week. As for her saying on ITT that 'the public want to see her dancing side by side with Robin' (or words to that effect), I wonder how she came to that conclusion? I'd rather see the dances danced correctly, rather than continual gurning, arm twirling and side by side stepping.

The first week was great, because it was so unexpected, but it is no longer fun, fun, fun

You lot'd make great judges.

"I didn't like your fun dance because it was too fun"

"I didn't like it because I didn't like the judges' scores"

"Your Samba looked too much like a Charleston"

"Your Charleston looked too much like a Cha-Cha-Cha"

I didn't like it because IMO it lacked technical samba content & technique - which was overlooked by the judges

People who vote can like what they want and if they vote for them because they like the "funtastic" approach that's fine

The judges though are meant to score tenchnique & content & IMO they didnt, they just scored the performance

All perfectly valid points, IMO.

She and Robin were great entertainment value and got the show off to a flying start - like most of the audience who gave her a standing ovation, I thoroughly enjoyed her routine. I thought her position on the leader board was well earned.

Too right. Let's say things as they are.

Yes her size is an issue in terms of achieving a perfect frame but her performance value is second to none. I guess that is why she nearly always gets a standing ovation.

Her technique was terrible last night. She wasn't even trying.

I'm getting bored with the constant 'fun dances' and the playing on the jolly happy fat girl stereotype. Last night's offering looked like the start of a hillbilly hoe-down in an amateur musical - a village hall production of OKlahoma.

I loved Lisa at the start when it looked as though she could dance but in the weeks since then there's been no development' All we get is the relentless gurning and comedic routines.

I'm not sure if it's Lisa's dancing or if Robin's being lazy with the choroegraphy to blame but I'm very disappointed with their performances the last few weeks.

Yes, the "bubbly fat girl" nonsense is wearing thin now.

I did notice she was conciously doing that cute/grin/gurn last night. But she added a lot of "Lisa from Manchester" and "Shocked weepy face" which she will use again until she wins.

Yes, I think she could well win, darlings.

By "the public" she probably means "my twitter followers". Just a thought.
