Christopher will be able to add 'as seen on TV's X Factor!' to the flyers at Butlins.

Lucy definitely, her music will have gotten more promotion. Ella aswell, if her performances are getting viewed by millions and are the most watched out of all this years contestants (apart from her audition, Lucy's had around 7 million more views).

Union J have potential to be relatively successful especially if they can win. Can't see any of the rest having much beyond short term success in music. Rylan may do well on the celeb circuit.

It depends how you define "well" Rylan for example won't have a successful music career. He's an entertainer but entertainment doesn't come out when you download a track off itunes. But he'll follow in the footsteps of Jedward, appear in reality shows, TOWIE, CBB, ITV2/Five shows and probably make a lot of money. its whether you would define that as success, again with Chris, no doubt we will get the obvious mothers day album but the real possibility is him appearing at holiday camps/cruises. If they sell out he'll make money but will technically be a "chart failure"

I think Ella will do very well.
Chris Maloney will appeal to all the grannies out there and will probably do Butlins, Haven etc. Rylan will probably make a few quid doing the gay clubs. I think Union J will do OK initially with all the 12 year olds but they're not good enough to last. |

I don't think any of them will do particularly well. I wouldn't be surprised if James found a niche market and had a steady, although not stellar, career. Union J may do well for a while in the teen market until the next boy band comes along. Ella's pretty young and would probably do better if she'd left it a couple of years.
The thing with X Factor is that most of the contestants have been trying to 'make it' for several years and there's probably a good reason why they haven't. There are always exceptions but most of those already had a foot firmly in the music industry door before XF. I think there may be a market for Jahmene in America but there are an awful lot of 'Jahmenes' out there and it would need a huge stroke of luck for him to manage it. |

James and Ella can do really well with the right management. I think Jahmene can do moderitly well. I guess theres a bit of a market for Union J, but I cant see them going international lik 1D, but could do well here in UK and Ireland.

Little Mix, one #1 extremely frontloaded and a 2nd single which hasn't caught on aswell as expected
Amelia, 1 single cant really judge Misha 2 tracks 1 missing the top 10 the other barely managed it I think only Ella and Jahmene will do well this year. I don't think Union J will do well as they'll always be compared to One Direction. I don't think James or Lucy will do well either. Might see Baloney in your local pantomime. Rylan will probably do alright going down the Jedward reality route. If its true Nicole is taking Melanie to America - I think she could do great with the right people. She's got an incredible rock/blues voice that hasn't been seen in years so introduced to the right people, she could do alright. Sadly were UK is concerned, I do think she'll only do well in West End/Musicals - which isn't a bad thing at all. |

Rylan will probably get a presenting job. He'd probably be good presenting Xtra Factor tbh.

Rylan will not go anywhere in the music industry at all, he will become a reality tv bimbo while he can, People will see him in every reality show going until they detest him. Then he will disappear.
Chris will go nowhere, Butlins and Cruise ships were his niche and he needed to stay with that I feel. James if he is very lucky will have a niche market like Ed Sheeran. Possibly enough to give him some kind of steady career. Jahmene would need to hit America to make it big. Ella is at best Generic in everything including her voice, she has nothing special to offer from anyone else in the market, she is another Melanie Amaro who won in the states, her first 2 singles pretty much being a complete flop. |
