I'm starting to get a little irritated with him now to be honest.
Those note changes are far too often used.

What's also shocking me is my fave is starting to become Union J!

Why nearly?

Even though I am going off him I think he is better then Christopher and Rylan and Ella.

My thoughts exactly. Jahmene was my favourite for weeks but I have started to cringe when he does what Gary calls the ad libs. The only act I really enjoy just listening to and watching is Union J and I've never been a boyband sort of person.

I've tended to be anti boy/girl bands. I can't stand One Direction. Couldn't stand District3.
Yet Union J are appealing to me.

That's quite odd as he has toned it down in recent weeks (yesterday aside )
Last week was his best performance

Jahmene's problem is he doesn't know what he does with his voice to make it go all over the place - it just does it.

So now he's learning to sing with control - but there are still points in his songs where they've clearly told him to riff naturally. And to be honest, it sounds awful when he does.

It's going to take him ages to develop into a decent singer because he needs to stop riffing all together and do everything with control, so he knows exactly what he wants to do with his voice and what notes he wants to hit.

To be honest I don't think he'll has the focus - especially once the contest is over and he has no professional vocal coach to guide him.

Exactly the same here. Although I don't mind One Direction now, I really disliked them on the lives. Union J on the other hand are fantastic! I think they could have a great career if they were to be managed by Louis afterwards.

Great minds clearly think alike. I'm exactly the same as you Jahmenes gymnastics, along with his constant doubt, has started to grate. I think my new love of Union J is due to Jaymi who is hands down the best voice in the whole competition now.

I still just want to give Jahmene a hug though. He always looks so sad

Welcome to the bright side

Jahmene's adorable but his voice acrobatics (I think they're called) irritate the hell out of me.

I love the tone to his voice. But I want him to be more self assured.

For me Jahmene has the uncanny knack of making every song sound the same.

Yes, he has a voice no one can deny that..........but aside from that there is nothing...........no charisma, personality, nothing. It's just all so bland.

I agree that he is doing the ad libs less throughout the whole song but when he does do it, it seems even more inappropriate. As someone else on here has posted, he doesn't seem in control of his talent. I was hoping he would have improved in that sense. All the same, I won't deny he has an incredible voice.
