I didn't say she wasn't talented, she just lacks a personality and for me her voice is far more suited for a west-end musical.

I'm not here for this Adele/Susan Boyle hybrid.

Ridiculous, she is nothing like either of them and she has a lovely personality if you want to see it, that is

She is she dresses like both of them and even sings like Adele at times...but far less impressive and when she tries too hard to be this vocal goddess that people make her out to be her voice screeches and comes across as slightly desperate but I'm sure she's lovely person.

She doesn't even have a voice as good as them. She could have got away with the standing on stage if she had an impressive voice like Leona did, but Ella just has no weight (well not emotional anyway) behind her voice, I agree she sings like some stage school wannabe not a diva in the making.

She may 'write songs' but so have many other contestants, and the material that I've heard from her is far from hit material. She has been massively overhyped, and when you look at it she is just an average contestant all round.

Take Rebecca or Amelia, neither of them could dance, but they had their own styles and commanded the stage. Ella has no stage presence and her performance last night was dreary and boring.

She will learn though as Rebecca has, she used to be very awkward on XF.

I haven't seen a performance like that from Ella and from what I've seen from her previous forays into uptempo territory, I don't think she's even capable of that, let alone this or even this...

I was a massive Rebecca fan and I even bought her album, a first for me from XF, but she is a few years older than Ella and she wasn't always happy on that stage. In fact, many on here complained about her being boring, just standing there and not doing anything.

Ella's performance of 'Believe' was sensational and to be fair she has hardly been given the best of songs every week.

She slowed it down to a ballad, and song choice isn't really an excuse. Alexandra had poor song choices the first few weeks, but came into her own, as well as many other acts, including Amelia Lily. Ella just doesn't have the stage presence or voice to match them.

I would like to here something more uptempo , something with a beat .

I liked Ella at her first audition and there is no denying she has talent but she is so boring, she doesn't do uptempo because she'd be crap at it. She just warbles, is often flat and out of key. God she just annoys me so much.
