Anton should get it if Bruce goes. He's a professional dancer and an all round good sport for the dance partners he's had to endure

can only think the best person to take over from Bruce would be Terry Wogan - he can handle live tv effortlessly, can ad-lib, presented the original Come Dancing way back in the day and it's a great excuse to get him back on the telly - but saying that I thought Claudia & Tess were excellent, Claudia can ad lib brilliantly
), but he has loads of live presenting experience, he is calm and could keep the judges under control with a quip or two, he has a very dry sense of humour with taking the micky in a nice way! which would suit the programme's style. he can also read an autocue! really miss him on Eurovision.

You mean Terry Wogan who doesn't present Eurovision anymore after reading out the wrong winner?
Also, I would love Claudia to do the "Tess-pit". Last edited by ilovenicnacs : 20-11-2012 at 09:04. Reason: addition |

Much as I would prefer a younger co-presenter for Tess, I too think Terry Wogan would be a good replacement, ok, he knows nothing about the subject (except the "Floral Dance" but we will pass over that quickly

Love your post, also miss him on Eurovision. But I don't think Tel would be interested. He has always managed his career with the same professionalism with which he entertained millions of us. He knows the SCD gig would be a hiding to nothing and I'm sure will prefer to leave us with the 'what if' taste in our mouths rather than anything else.
shame he would not consider it, he must be coming up to retirement himself! think it would be a nice way to go out, a couple of series of a top rated Saturday night show. I think that is Bruce's problem really, he wants to go out on a high but does n't realise he has missed the boat!!! should have gone while he could still pronounce people's names .
