I am in fact! Just been having a look through all of today's post, what an odd feeling to come back and have loads of pages to look through, just like old times! So odd to think that I used to be like almost permanently here! My love for Chryed seems to have been irrecoverably dented by anger at most of the stuff that happened post DC week *coughAmira'sreturnwtfwasthatcough* and how wasted the great characters and actors were but I still have a huuuuuge love for this thread and most importantly all you gorgeous, bonkers Chryedians

Can't be around much this weekend but I'll definitely try and have a read through of tomorrow's posts too Love and kisses to all Xxxxx
Elphieeee! Love you! xx

Thank you! Gorgeous......especially the Red Towel gif....omg what a fabulously sexy scene that was -
"Was I very rude?"
"You've been worse."

I love that Syed can't stay angry at Christian for more than about a day, if that. I love the scene in the caf where they're talking about kids and Christian says Syed will be a disciplinarian... while Syed struggles to remain pissed off and not smile at him and then gives up after about 30 seconds. Yeah, he's going to be a real hard-arse with Yasmin.

I understand now why Syed had to be the one who cheated. Christian might've forgiven him quickly, but Syed would've been like 'you bastard!!!' etc. And about an hour later he would've felt bad for shouting at him, decided it was his fault, and would promptly go and apologise to Christian  No drama there.

It wasn't even just the lack of clothing The chemistry, body language, looks, tone of voice, tossing of the apple....
Absolutely, there's something really sexy about it that goes beyond Marc being in a towel, I don't quite know what it is. That episode was a chemistry goldmine. Pretty sure that sofa-shoving scene is the most chemistry Marc and Johnny ever had. And I do NOT say that lightly.

Hi! It's so good to 'see' you. You were always one of my favourite posters. I really hope you're good!! Your sweetness and positivity contrasted with your bitter Amira loathing was an incredible sight to behold.

Hope you're doing great. Much love and kisses back at ya! xxx

Okay I made a quiz! It was totally done in like 10 minutes and I made up the questions as I went along but hopefully someone finds it vaguely entertaining!

So...which half of Chryed are you?
Well, would you know it. The indecisive, constantly-on-the-fence, it-might-be-this-but-then-again-it-might-also-be-that one is... A Little bit of both
Thank you so much for this, Jenn!

Auction: I don't even know what it is! What if it's a mouldy banana (albeit touched by an awesome person :sleep.

Then again it could be a red towel.

Arghh, the anguish.

There was a certain mischievious playfulness about them, I think it was the mood they were in at the time that really lent to the scene. There was a similar vibe to that jogging in the square/love handles/sucking on a water bottle scene

Yeah, I think the lines are kind of blurred between Johnny/Marc and Christian/Syed in those scenes. I get the same kind of vibe from bed scene, too.

Right I reeeeally better go now, but I'll be back tomorrow I'm intrigued as to what this secret ebay item is....maybe it's the bed scene bed sheets? Ok probably not, but hey, might get the bidding even higher

Love to all, speak soon Xxx

Awh this

Sorry for lack smilies..kindle.does not recognize them
Yes, that's me.

Let's celebrate Chryed, two gorgeous guys who overcame everything and found happiness together.
And let's celebrate the bonkersness of this thread that brought us all together
!
I can't either. And it's weird, because I normally have no compunctions about dropping stuff I don't enjoy anymore. I guess it was kind of annoying, in that I knew it was bad, but there was still just enough stuff I enjoyed to keep me clinging on... (plus, this place. Hate y'all for entertaining me so goddamn much I couldn't bring myself to let go. Whenever I stopped posting in here, my interest went through the floor.)

Their ending will always be a little tainted for me. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but I just can't be 100% happy with it. However, I am eternally grateful they left together. We could have gone through all that AND had them leave separately. I just wish their exit storyline had been about external angst rather than internal, I guess. I wanted it to be them against the world, not each other.
Thank you Kathy, lovely words, and yes, that's what I want to do to, celebrate the happy ending (/'cos yes I struggle, and the bad stuff hurts, but the happy ending happened!, and I'll cling to it, it means so much to me!!), and I want to remember all that those who cared created, which was a lot! and all the good things this thread brought us (brought me). . I'm a Chryedian, I spent so long caring. They're in my heart, as is this experience we all went through. x

/proper normal *cough*

Loved all of those scenes.
And let's not forget how sofa-push scene contributed to some of the best smut ever written (I will NEVER let you forget that, my dear Cos I love that fic so much )

It is absolutely dead on  . But she always was a really clever girl, our Jenn

It is so very me

When you say it I think you're quite right about the running- and towel scenes. Bed-scene... it has a very special vibe, but for me I'm not sure it's the same kind. For me it's that cheeky, naughty thing that says Ellitridge, and I don't feel that as much in bed-scene

Just seen that Joey Branning's leaving EE.

I was no fan of his, but, um. Are they going to have any characters left?! I glanced at the Soap Movers list the other day and there are sooo many people leaving (zero characters I would've missed, though. But, still.)

Also, MH has updated and this chapter is even more fab than usual. That fic has been my lifeblood these past few months.

Oh, I just meant that I feel like I can see Ellitridge coming through in all of the scenes, especially bed scene. Not that the scenes themselves have the same vibe. I totally agree- bed scene is kind of giggly and giddy and, like, 'wow, we're actually getting married'. Not really sexy, which is weird considering they're naked in bed... Unlike 'red towel' and the 'bottle biting' scenes, which are really flirty and dirty.

Not flattering - just truth as Always

Ah, gotcha ( ) Yeah, I understand what you mean, there might be a bit of Ellitridge shining through in bed-scene too, I'm not sure I know enough about them to tell, i just associate that miscievous behaving-like-a-couple-of-five-year-olds- vibe more to them.

Yeah, it's actually quite weird how bed-scene is not actually very "sexy" but just as you say, giddy, giggly, happy, sort-of-incredulous, and sensual, but not sexual... and at the same time so totally and obviously post-coital.

This is so weird - going out for the evening and then having pages of thread to catch up on. I can't think of a good analogy - like something you used to do all the time, then stopped doing for a year, then went back to doing and it should be odd, but it's like the most natural thing in the world, but also a bit unfamiliar. I'm sure you are all feeling it too.

Okay I made a quiz! It was totally done in like 10 minutes and I made up the questions as I went along but hopefully someone finds it vaguely entertaining!

Yay! And thanks to everyone posting games and puzzles and quizzes. I have been doing them, albeit after everyone's gone to bed. I'm not bad at the picture puzzles, but completely suck at anagrams.

OK, I'm feeling a bit bad now that people are bidding so much money for something they don't even know what it is, and I'm worried that people are assuming it is something it isn't. And I know you're all adults, and it's your money, and it's your risk, and I have made no promises and it's all going to charity, but I really just want to say two things:
1) Please don't bid if you can't afford it
2) Please don't try and guess/imagine you know what it is, or even that it is something spectacular.

To ease my guilt slightly, here is the next clue to what it is.

It is two sheets of white A4 paper.

Now, as you were...
