I remember that epic post someone did on LJ (I think?) with pics explaining all the alterations they'd made to the flat, but I still couldn't work it out Anyway, I hated that flat, with its crappy wicker sofa :sleep: It all started going wrong for them when they moved in there

Tbf, it's not like it was all hearts and flowers all the time in the old flat, they had some bad times there too, but it's also where they were happiest, where they fell in love, and the first place they lived together as a couple. The new flat never really felt like their home to me, probably because we hardly ever saw them after they moved in :sleep:

I most liked old flat because the bed was *right there* And various Masood family members would come round when the bed was a mess and Chryed had clearly just shagged

Ha! I love Morning Masoods so, so much. I love how obvious it was Syed had invited Tam round for breakfast, totally forgotten about it, they started shagging and then heard a knock on the door and went 'shit'.

OMG that was brilliant! Obviously it was a very emotional scene but the bit with Zainab seeing the bed was really well done, kinda cringey and funny but loaded with meaning. Remember the days when EE used to put a modicum of care and thought into Chryed's stories? So glad they're out of there now

I just loved it because it was so subtle. I mean, okay, it wasn't subtle at all, really, but I just mean there were no clunky lines or anything and it just went without saying. These days Syed would probably have been saying a line about not making the bed because of his leg or whatever, but I loved how the awkwardness and embarrassment was palpable without it being explicitly referenced. I loved that Zainab waited until Christian had left the flat to see Syed, but she couldn't escape the essence of their relationship.

Hmm, I wasn't quite sure and then I heard Christian singing 'Filthy/Gorgeous' in the shower and that confirmed things for me. Before that, it was so subtle. Especially Tamwar's breakfast, which had clearly been lovingly and thoughtfully prepared.

I love Tam's awkward look when he hears Christian singing and then the way Syed just carries on as normal cos he clearly hears Christian singing in the shower every day so it's no big deal to him.

I like to think Syed puts in requests of what he'd like to hear And if Christian sings a song he doesn't like he goes and occupies his mouth in another way

I really want to go and watch classic Chryed clips now but I need to sleep :yawn: Definitely rewatching the whole sl from the start when I have a week off in December

I'd love to do this but I'm not sure whether rewatching will just make me sad about all the missed opportunities
