BiB: I LOVED that- the way it was set out and everything was lovely. It made up for the bizarre decision to use that promo pic of Amy, Christian and Syed as a picture, ha. Their house was also great and very 'them'. And it was so great to see Yasmin too- especially with the same actress and everything, and it was so obvious how Christian adores her. And, must say, that doesn't look like a house where they only have the kid on a weekend.

I still only watch EE really, really casually because I cannot get back into it, but even from my view, it has improved massively. DTC actually knows who his strongest actors are- bringing Adam Woodyatt and Linda Henry to the forefront of the show just proves that. There don't appear to be any Tyler Moons or Derek Brannings- even the characters I don't like (most of the newbies outside of the Carters tbh) have a purpose. And DTC seems to have so much more respect for characters' histories and characterisation than a certain predecessor of his, and the show is really getting back on top because of that. This is the first full week I've watched in a while, and the difference since the last time I did that (Zainab's exit week, I think) is startling.

I sort of feel that way too, but, eh, they were pretty much ruined by the exit storyline anyway. Syed's character got TRASHED. I'd love to see him again just to see him actually being himself. But, yeah, I don't really want them to return on any sort of long-term basis. I definitely don't want either of them back separately though. Brief appearances like this week's are perfect. I can't really see Marc coming back in any capacity, but unlikelier things have happened, I guess.

No idea, even though Shabnam has been back 6 months now. She must be due some significant screentime soon?

It's still a bit weird that she and Syed have never been on screen together, we've no idea what kind of relationship they had.

You're right there..

However, Syed could make a short-term visit - like Christian's appearance for the funeral but longer - if the Masoods have a major storyline of their own. That way, the producers wouldn't need to involve Chryed in any significant way - ie breaking up again.

I like this idea.

Yeah, i saw the article on here. From what i can gather, they're takin down videos of artists who haven't signed another contract with their record label. Which, to me, is blackmailing them into re-signing. What if they don't want to? What if they want to change label? Their music gets taken down and they go into oblivion? That isn't fair.

I don't spend as much time online in general anymore, or rather I do but I'm always watching TV shows on it... but I am one of the people who has attached themselves to another fandom (The Supernatural fandom, which I entirely blame Jenn, Mercs and Alex for! Went to a con and met a lot of the actors from it in May, which was amazing! Such a shame we couldn't do more Chryed cons.)

I do still watch EastEnders - well I say still, I stopped for ages but it's been brilliant since DTC came back! He's even found a way to bring characters like Ronnie back into the show, who I always found fascinating but was completely destroyed during BK's era. So yeah, been watching nearly every episode of EE lately!

I kinda hope they don't return for good - I know they'd be in safe hands with DTC (or maybe not because he wanted to kill off Syed years ago! ) but if anyone else took over from DTC down the line, it's very possible Chryed could be ruined beyond repair. At least when they're not in the show, like now, I can fall back on my head canon and believe they're living happily ever after in Birmingham. Of course if Johnny and/or Marc wanted to go back then I'd support their choices but Marc has been so fantastic in Tape and Urinetown, and Johnny in panto, Dames 'n' Dudes and ACL and other things that it'd be a shame to think I couldn't see them in any shows again. But on that note, Johnny isn't ill! Before EE he had the physique of a dancer, but lost it a bit during EE, and he's got it back through doing ACL last year. I think he's happier this way so good for him, I say
