Just popping in with the news that Rita Simons is on This Morning tomorrow so may talk about Roxy and Christian and also Johnny leaving as they are close mates.

I've retired from chatting about the storyline in here (fairly gracefully I hope!) but I think 1,000,000 posts deserves marking...it really does show what a brilliant and gripping storyline this was before BK got his mucky paws on it. It's a rare thing and presumably a first for one to top 1,000,000 posts.

So in celebration here is my offering...a video (thanks Nancy Blackett) that I have in my favourites and haven't watched for years bu itt definitely captures Chryed before BK and is also jolly for Christmas. Everytime I watch it I find myself jigging along in time to Christian whenever he appears dancing in the clips. The jigging is also good for trapped wind if you've over indulged at all already.

A million posts? Awesome! I don't think anyone else is probably anywhere near us on DS - the JJJers are closest on thread 229, but most of their threads were much shorter than ours as they started after the rule change from 5,000 to 3,000 posts. (And they're going pretty slowly these days, doubt they'll catch us up.) The Brendan fans are next, but they're miles behind on thread 161 and Brendan's meant to be leaving in the next few months I think.

It's entirely possible no one might ever catch us up. Which would be pretty gratifying, it has to be said... As who me? said, it's a testament to how great this storyline was once.

Hello Who me? thank you so much for the Rita info. I know you have bowed out of discussing the storyline now. I wanted to say a big wave goodbye if you are not going to be around much anymore. You and me, we've had our ups and downs. xxx But you have been an amazing poster on here, and one of our golden oldies from the very beginning. And we've often been in agreement over Syed even if it's not been that apparent. .......I wish you well, good luck in real life and thank you for the video. Totally agree, it's testament to the story and Marc and Johnny and their wonderful acting that we've made it this far! I hope you take some lovely memories with you amid all the draaaama.

Miss Marc in Tape too.....he was so amazing! Such a wonderful month for me, Oct 2012 will remain an awesome month in my life, printed off some pics of me with Marc for my Mum and Dad today, and put them in the post.....I look terrible but stood next to one of the most photogenic men in the world....what can you do? LOL.

Congratulation fellow chrydens on reaching 1 million posts when I joined in part one, we never dreamed we would reach 100 threads and we blew that one out of the water

It truely has been an amazing place to be, to be a part of, to find like minded people, be serious, smutty, lol, ROTFL (looking at you whome for some of those moments). We worried about them getting together, we got depressed as a thread when syed married Amira, we agonised when they were apart, rejoiced when renuion happened and watched them get married and walk off to a new life together.

We have had moments, when we had posts removed, moments when the bosses at EE tried to break us, but they learned that chrydens are made of sterner stuff and that is why we have reached this outstanding milesstone, congrats everyone, each person has made this place.

Congratulations everyone on 1 million posts!!!!!!!! You are all awesome Sorry, I didn't manage to contribute (I always miss the good stuff), but I realised that due to the Chryed exit, I had done absolutely no Christmas shopping I have been busy rectifying that

Congratulations on the 100,000,000 posts. I was on on Sunday and just missed the hitting of the 100,000,000 post. Its a brilliant thing to achieve and with a few other threads being near that target but probably not reaching it makes it all the more remarkable. That and Chryed having left a month nearly and the lack of screentime in their last 12-18 months makes me proud to have been in some way a part of reaching this milestone. the Brendan thread might run us close but im not sure, with him leaving soon, that they will overtake us, although, boy can they talk. I lurk in there occasionally as im a fan of hollyoaks and the character of Brendan is portrayed amazingly by Emmett Scanlan and the Stendan love story is well written (the most of the time) and they move on 20 odd pages a day sometimes. They may catch us but i hope they dont as i like the idea of being the biggest thread on DS and staying that way.

Ive only been on here for about a year and a half. Joined about last summer when i was pregnat with Lily. Its weird to think that my time on here has coincided with me becoming a mother for the first time, getting engaged last christmas, my secret wedding i knew nothing about, my second pregnancy and finally the birth of my son. Who knows what 2013 brings but nothing can beat being on here and the warmness of the people on here as i embarked on motherhood and being a wife. 2013 will hopefully bring my third child and my siblings babies but i hope this thread lives on and on and we talk about our lives post Chryed as the boys may have gone but we are all still the same people who embarked on this journey with them and i hope im not the only one on here come next year. I love to catch up with you all from time to time.
