Hello Just quickly dropping by, r/l is a bit mad at the moment.

Hello all. I have some sad news....

It is with great sadness that I have decided to leave the thread. Chryedville isn't Chryedville without Chryed in my eyes, no matter how many happy Chryed fans we have here. I haven't even been here a year, haven't had a threadiversary, but I have a lot of fun, and I have a lot of memories. My only regret is that I never got to meet any of you. Oh, and that I never joined earlier!! I will forever be thankful to Feather for convincing me to de-lurk. If it wasn't for her, I would've never joined in the first place. But, after nearly 12 months, I feel it's time to move on and go and find and r/l, whatever that is. If, by some miracle, Chryed come back for a one off, and the thread is still going by then, I will come back. But for now, I say my goodbyes. Goodbye everyone, thank you for a wonderful time, and I will miss you all! Happy New Year, and stay safe.....

Love has prevailed. LB signing out for the last time...

xxxxx
Sorry to see you are leaving the thread. Hope you have a wonderful future ahead. Take care x

Thank you for the next part of the story.

Well, some days just take you by surprise.
There I was with a big To Do list and all the best intentions, and instead I find myself still in bed at 6pm having not got up or got dressed or even eaten because I was kidnapped by Christian and Syed having rather an intense discussion about honesty.
As you can imagine, they had rather a lot to talk about, and what I thought would be one chapter, has become three, but it does mean a bonus double post for anyone enjoying the story.
It's still not finished, they still have some talking to do, but they won't be doing it today. I need to sort stuff out for Nottingham tomorrow!
So here is some new Chryed fic. Not that anyone needs to search to find things any more, but old habits die hard.
Hope you enjoy.
What a lovely surprise Cannot wait to have time to read the new chapters. Thank you

Guhhhh. Johnny is amazing. He knows we're here, we are loud!!

/panto interval.
Hope you, Jenn, Alex, KatrinaK, starfish and everyone else at the meet up are having a great time.

I read your post MT and could not agree more. I just try not to think of those last few weeks anymore, apart from the last ep of course! Totally agree about missing the opportunity to use Chryed as an excuse to procrastinate too

I forgot celebrity wedding planner was on yesterday But thank you to Dessie, Rhumba and Sylae for the commentary, it sounds like a lot of fun.

Yeah, it was actually so weird going away for a bit and coming back and it'd moved on a page. Ah, how things change. I remember I used to think that the thread would be pretty active a while after they left... haha, thanks, EE for killing them by inches for a year before that amaze exit storyline.

Hmm, no hints but I will say that I used to turn the brightness right up on my laptop to watch this particular scene and then I'd forget and minimise it and blind myself. This happened a ridiculous number of times. You know, I haven't watched it in a while, I could do with a blinding...

Hope everyone off to panto has a great time! I have the wild choice of doing revision or doing my dissertation, don't be too jealous of my hardcore life.
I know, it's sad for me, and it must be even sadder for thosr who've been here much longer.
I had thoughts along those lines as well, but, TPTB in their wisdom saw things differently... And you know they're only doing it out of the goodness of their hearts since they knew Chryedville'd miss them too much otherwise. Errmm.... thanks?

Still no clue.

I'm living life on the edge; I've helped a friend move today and am now watching a bit of TV while working on an assignment... It's all about the rock and roll

Guhhhh. Johnny is amazing. He knows we're here, we are loud!!

/panto interval.
Somehow, I'm surprised at neither of those things

I know, me neither  We have clearly underestimated them.

You did? That's fab! Well, I haven't actually searched for it yet (), haven't had the time. Oh, if you have it at hand that'd be wonderful!

Yeah, they were so busy being thoughtful about how we'd cope with them leaving, they forgot to actually put any thought into the storyline itself, clearly!

You have mail!

Morning dear thread. I'm wide awake in Nottingham (as opposed to sleepless in Seattle) but not meeting my Chryedian friends for a while for breakfast. So thought I'd pop in here say a few things about last night and the panto experience.

Panto itself was very funny. Quite different from Canterbury, probably more traditional. The anticipation for Prince Charming appearing was great and everytime he did there were massive roars and woops from the front 3 rows. He certainly knew we were there and smiled everytime he heard us <3 He was if course dashing and awesome and sung up a storm.

At the end we managed to have 3 separates shout outs which was hilarious. 2 different people had put in independently ("Chryedians", "Johnny's Army") and one they must do automatically for large bookings. The rest of the audience was well jealous of our awesomeness

After we went to the stage door and there were an awful lot of people there so we waited patiently (Chryedian virtue). He came to us last called us a motley gathering then stood around chatting for ages. Can't remember a huge amount but he had some lovely personal moments with people that's it's not my place to share. Other things I remember:

- he's on a diet, convinced he needs to be uber fit for the west end and really quite nervous about ACL it seems, a month from that starting. Course we reassured him he was fit enough and would be awesome.
-he's worried about getting ill with so much going on, and avoids all ill people even if that includes hubby!
-very sweet moments when he asked to see baby pictures from 2 of us who had babies in the last 15 months. He gushed, asked the children's names etc.
-we made sure the 4 people who'd never met him before got introduced, hugs and photos. When he met KatrinaK we told him she was the one that set up the Stonewall fundraising page so she got some lovely words.
-loves us all and the support means the world to him
-worse thing about panto is working over Xmas, bless him think he'd have liked more days off
-chat about other pantos people had seen, very enthusiastic about Ace (Yusef).
-promises lots more to come.
-we thanked him (again) for Chryed. I tried to say thank you for agreeing to leave with Marc so we got our happy ending. Didn't quite come out right and was too tongue tied to remember what he said next, if anything. /useless
-he left to go make tea for Jon who was driving over having finished his last show.

Coz it was my only panto I cheekily asked for a hug and of course he obliged. Mmmmm for the 2nd ever time I got enveloped and again I was so busy absorbing the hug and hugging back I didn't look outward or pose so possibly failed again to get a photo. Don't mind though coz the hugs are soooooooo lush.

Oh and if anyone was wondering he of course looks magnificent in the flesh-has some stubble, his hair looks great, and I'm sure I wasn't the only one to notice a bit of chest hair on display whilst he was talking to us.

Basically GUHHHHH such a lovely amazing man giving us his time <3 <3 Love him to bits.

I can totally picture this

Thanks for the summary, sounds like everyone had fun.
BIB--makes me smile for some reason. Probably because I'm the person who will spray Lysol disinfectant all over your desk if you leave work because you're sick so I can totally relate to that

I saw the picture, he does look good. I've always had a thing for men with long hair. Not sure why, but men with long hair just does something for me. But even with my love of long hair I can admit Marc's hair was looking a little, (what's the right word?) unkempt towards the end of Tape from the pictures I saw. I loved the length of his hair on Chryed's last episode, that's a good length for him. However, this new hair cut totally suits him and shows off his lovely face

Yes, he is out of this world when it comes to eyes and hair, but where did you see the pic? In a mag or on DS?

Love to see it

There's a link via twitter and Facebook, just tap in Marc Elliott. I hope the new look ( if it is new ) is to help him get more roles.

He'd really suit romantic drama..

Thanks just seen it - he looks very different from Syed and that’s the point I think.

He looks different, but absolutely lovely as ever. I really think it will help to get him exciting new job offers.

A romantic drama would be fun. Actually I was looking through True Blood tags on Tumblr this morning and wondered briefly if he could be a vampire or another kind of supernatural being. Kind of fun trying to picture it

Evening all. I had such a lovely time with 25 other Chryedians last night. Sorry to those four who couldn't make it.

Johnny was amazing.

As most of you know, it was my first time seeing him in the flesh so it was quite an experience for me.

He was brilliant on stage, totally owned it!

He came out afterwards and spent time with us taking photos, signing progammes and chatting away. I now know what everyone means when they say he's absolutely lovely and a sweetheart to his fans.

I finally got the opportunity to talk to him. Thank you Star so much for giving me that push to do it because I was suddenly hit with a brick of nerves.

He had some lovely things to say to me when Star told him that I started the fundraising page. It left me a bit speechless. I'm not used to compliments.

I got some amazing Johnny hugs out of it and pics (thank you guys - as I left my camera in my luggage :sleep

I really enjoyed having a drink (or two :sleep with you after the show and generally chit chating about Chryed, fandom and of course the usual rants. There was something very nostalgic about it now but it's so great to share it with people who understand.

I'll never tire of saying how amazing this fandom is, how much impact Chryed have had and how they've created something so special.

You are all such amazing people , and Johnny is one amazing man!

So happy that everyone had fun at panto! Great reports from Sylae and Katrina. Wanted to be there so much but I had to work - total bummer!

Katrina I am going to panto on Tuesday and while I saw Johnny at Hackney I haven't met him in the flesh before. Feel a bit nervous about stage door-ing but I might if I get up the guts.

Hello Just quickly dropping by, r/l is a bit mad at the moment.

Thank you for the next part of the story.
Good to see you, LoveChryed. You're very welcome for the fic - people seem to like this series.

I have one final thing to add - a while ago I set up a page on JustGiving in aid of the Terrence Higgins Trust because they do great work which Johnny helps to promote. I wanted to make a donation to THT and thought it would be much easier of there was a JustGiving page and AlexinBrum suggested I set one up, which is what ended up happening. Since I associate JP's charity work with THT as his own personal thing, rather than something to do with the BBC or Chryed, I set it up as a JP fans page but at the same time since it had Johnny's name on it I felt uncomfortable sharing it publicly without Johnny being aware of it it so its mostly been a word of mouth thing until now. However, Sylae sent a thankyou card after the panto trip this weekend and mentioned the page and he seems fine about it so I finally feel ok to share it now. I don't want anyone to feel any obligation to donate, I know a lot of people are short of cash at this time of year, I just wanted you all to know that its there if you feel like chipping in. The page is http://www.justgiving.com/JPfans and you can also donate by text in the following way: text the code CCSM69 and the amount you want to donate (e.g. £5) to 70070.

And for anyone interested you could choose your own code, it just had to be four letters and two numbers. Being pure-minded innocent Chryedians, I'll let you all decide for yourself what it stands for.
