Is anyone else getting the impression that the events of Chryed's wedding week are playing a greater role in the break up of Mas and Zee than most people seem to think? Virtually everyone is taking the Masood and Ayesha stuff in isolation but I don't think it's that simple. Masood seems to be finding it harder and harder to live with Zainab - he can't even tell her that Ayesha has a little crush - but whilst love was enough for Chryed in the end, it's not enough for Masood anymore.
Ayesha is still a dull character mind.. |

hi. Just felt I should pop in and say hello, this was my first chryed home and a very special place. I miss chryed on my tv's, I miss seeing johnny and marc on screen together.
it also makes me sad that this thread has been open since last year, its understandable, but still said, considering the vibrant place it used to be.

Hello Chryedville!
![]() Great Nottingham reports, Starfish. Bringing back lots of happy memories, thank you. ![]() And I'm looking forward to the poll results, Sylae. ![]() I've been ill in bed since Friday (nothing serious, just a nasty cold) and I took the opportunity to rewatch Chryed's wedding week again and remembered how much I loved it! I was surprised that I even managed to find a bit of new understanding of the DTW stuff - I'm now a subscriber to the 'trying to get caught' theory, which is all tied up with the 'sabotaging things' and 'testing Christian's love' theories, and related back to Perfect Moment as well. I may elucidate one day, but not now because it's late and I need my beauty sleep. But reconciling myself to the whole thing is still a work in progress. Goddam you EE! |

Hi Alex Hope you shake off your cold soon. I agree watching the DTW stuff again sort of helps and it is a work in progress. I would rather watch Danny and Syed flirting than the whole Syed not saying I love you. That is never going to make sense no matter how many times I watch it. |

One look at spoilers for the Masoods next week makes it very clear the producers are just taking characters backwards rather than forwards. I mean WTF

Quick good morning message to all!
Thank you so, so much for the writeups,Star, hopefully there'll be more of that to come quite soon... ![]() Good to see posts from Susan - lovely Lady of the Gardens - hope you're really well my dear. And from Alexin! Hope you feel better soon! Am also glad you're able to slowly reconcile yourself with it all. I am too, and it's moving forward. Not sure I'll ever be able to forgive TPTB though... Aussie - nice to see you post as well. Am glad you're working on it as well. And agree about the not making sense..at least not in the way TPTB chose to tell the story... Gaah... And towers - I agree so much about what they're doing to Zainab and Masoods... I truly and honsetly didn't think it was even physically and humanly possible for TPTB to care less about them, but... TPTB never cease to amaze you, do they? WTF is just about right. My heart is very much aching and bleading for Nina. Anyway, I'm off to try and be good and productive and such.. /Yeah... Love to all! xxx |

Hello! If it's any consolation I feel like you crazysusan, the miss
least beyond imagining. I know this has probably been the best, given the prespectivas actually was something sensed from to time, but I can not remove from my that feeling of sadness and longing. Being here, but the thread has slowed down, I may have a link with them and keep the flame alive, but sometimes seem always embers can stoke |

Just popping in to say I just saw the Celeb Millionaire show Johnny did is on ITV tonight. Also the AT show has started up again and he likes his musicals on there so it's definitely worth keeping an eye open. Nina did the papers on This Morning last week too so she may pop up again on there. Quote:

Good Afternoon All - or by the time I post this it might be classed as evening....
Thanks for all the lovely comments on my panto reports. It was great fun writing them, and as you remember one memory, it triggers another, which is why they got so long! ![]() Who me? what is the AT show? Never heard of this. Agree with everyone who is feeling miffed about Zainab's exit storyline.....I'm a whole week behind with EE (permanently) and do a once a week catch up on Iplayer. Absolutely detest Ayesha and also the whole concept - not looking forward to seeing Zainab go in this way....makes me feel sad. BUT....if Nina wanted to go then I'm glad for her personally...we shall see how it goes.....won't say anymore, don't want to be too negative. The next thing on my do list was to post my answers to Sylae's poll - so here they are. I am also going to post my answers to Dessie's poll too, it's just that they are going to be a lot longer..... So that is last on my list. So Sylae's End of An Era Poll - 1) Feelings on the Chryed Exit Storytelling I chose the Good the Bad and the Ugly. My only real problem was Syed being unable to say he loved Christian, (didn't believe it, thought it was padding and nothing more and couldn't take it seriously, but it annoyed because we could have had vital scenes so needed such as a proper talk between them, and Syed with Masood, which we knew got filmed and then cut - don't get me started). 2) Favourite Chryed Storyline Memory fail here - I know I chose Early Affair and Reunion to DC week in my top 3 - I think Proposal and Gay Bar week might have been my third. Not sure of order, think I put Early Affair at number 1 - after all that is what it was all about! 3) Question 3 - I said Ellitridge made many a purse from a sow's ear...as if we didn't know... 4) My most negative answer, for the 'Ick, Ack, pretty much ruined it' category was the the 'twist' with Syed having slept with Danny. Most of my answers were I was ok - and I was pretty much.....'Bothered me but I soldiered on' were BF, Syed can't say ILY and I think that was it. So I was a good Chryedian soldier for most of it...despite any moans.....or perhaps being too good at rationalising things. 5) Most Horrific Out of Character plot - for me - without a doubt and by a long mile......BF Christian "I can't give up on my dream".....yeah right, Christian's dream previously was just to be with Syed and he nearly died for it. So this wins for me by a mile.... .......ETA - just to say - they BOTH nearly died for it. Say. No. More. :sleep:6) Which Wedding - Well without a doubt Christian and Syed - Syed meant his vows, so did Christian, and it was lovely and true. They both meant it and it was beautiful and wonderful and knowing about the twist to come takes nothing away from it for me, because Syed wanted to keep Christian despite what he had done, totally regretted it, and totally meant his vows. I think TPTB were trying to be clever and try to echo the idea of Syed marrying Amira with a secret but it was a whole different kettle of fish and therefore, if this was their thinking, a fundamental misunderstanding of the first wedding. Which is no surprise to us! Anyway....I loved it, and it was and is, beautiful. 7) Favourite Kiss!!! What a question to have to answer! I found this the hardest one of all.....LOL 1) Greenery Kiss because it's loving and sexual and so in public - just wonderful and it goes on for a while, and it's in daylight! 2) Other Talents, mainly chose this for sentimental reasons because it's an old favourite of mine, unabashed tongue, Syed loved up with joy at his liberation, a wonderful post sex kiss... 3) This was my struggle - I chose First Kiss in the end, because I am very fond of it and also because it launches the whole story from then on. I think there is a real cinematic quality to it...love the eyes, the closing in, the realisation of what is to come... My two big runners up that I had trouble leaving out were NYE Kiss and Alley Kiss, both utterly wonderful in different ways...and I love all the other too....can I have the lot please? ![]() 8) Which Blackhole Was Most in Need of Filling..... Crumbs...where do we begin... Without a doubt for me it's still Police Station to Superman for number 1, the crucial falling in love period, the early parts of Chryed were so beautiful.....it's just a shame that timidity, rather than lack of interest, caused this blackhole. The second one for me would be (I think this is what I chose, not sure now) - post Jan 2012 follow up because I feel it was really important to understand Syed's mindset and the whole rings back on, giving up etc... Third one - I think I chose post BF - not sure. But would love to have seen that resolved as it would have given some insight into the dynamics going on at that time. Was not to be. 9) Best Thing About Chryed I think I chose virtually EVERYTHING on offer...two hot men (shallow) amazing groundbreaking story, incredible acting from Marc and Johnny, led me to new friends and experiences, made me more politically active...etc...etc... 10) The supposed Evil Question - would you choose No Cheating or No Blackholes.... So easy to answer...for me without question of a doubt - no blackholes!! I was always ok with cheating in theory and thought it could have done so much better and in the right place in a two year story arc....hated the blackholes and missing bits....and the torture of waiting..... If I had a choice about cheating, I think it would have been excellent after BF week, made perfect sense and could have been really good. I also believe that if a couple is a 'forever, meant to be together couple' then they should be able to survive cheating anyway....not much of a relationship if it cannot. Just my personal opinion of course. ![]() And, there endeth, my answers to Sylae's poll....I'll do my answers to Dessie's soon....promise. xx Speak again soon....and - Love Has Prevailed. xxx

The piper kiss was less of an issue to me - sort of - than the boys seeming to forget they were both heartbroken the previous new years eve and were now choosing getting drunk ( Christian ) and just sitting quietly at home ( Syed ) over their relationship. Had the boys never heard of compromise? And they didn't even get together at the stroke of midnight which Amira had made some attempt to do the previous year.

You're right towers, is another incongruity be added to the list, pay close attention to the kiss regardless of the nonsense that spend the New Year
separately. Sometimes the trees we can not see the forest |

Starfish regarding the AT show . I was being lazy wasn't I?..mainly because I always have trouble spelling his name. It's like in Bridget Jones when she's trying not to say that guys name in case it comes out rude,
I always want to type Titsmarsh but then I think it's more like Titchmarch but I've been conscientious and checked (and also double checked the spelling of conscientious )and it's actually a combination Titchmarsh. In fact he's called Alan Fred Titchmarsh...I like the Fred.![]() But he often features musicals on his show so I would be suprised if there wasn't some ACL action at some point so it would be worth having it in the planner. Now no funny business asking what ACL stands for as I know you know. On topic. I doubt very much if Syed and Christian watch the AT show. But I could be wrong. ![]() My pleasure re the info LoveChryed

Loved chapter 3, the interaction between Syed and Yasmin was my favourite part. Also liked the way you wrote Roxy and Christian's friendship. I fear there is a lot of trouble ahead, but look forward to reading about Chryed's journey.
