Yeah it is a bit of awkward place to put his arm but maybe his tired :sleep: after the immense physical energy his used so he needs Christian to support him for a bit. He is resting on Christian's chest.

I think this too. If you look closely (not that I have of course :sleep: ), Christian's face changes ever so slightly in the split second before the scene goes outside to Lucy and Zainab. I like to think it changes to a look of lust. I'd imagine that Christian just loses total control and pushes Syed back onto the table and then they go crashing to the floor together and then Zainab peeks through the door just as they are ripping clothes off and they've got all their hot and sweaty limbs getting more and more entwined. I love that Pete put some frenzied sex into the script. Not only cos it's hot but also cos I think the passion in Chryed's relationship perhaps hasn't been there much in recent months, what with caring for Yasmin, financial worries and wedding stress etc. So I think it was really important for them to get that passion back and remember what it was like when it was just the two of them laying in each other's arms together.

Great post! I totally agree. And I think it had to be Christian who initiated it because I don't think Syed would in those circumstances. And I'm really glad they got the passion back in their last ep, it's been sorely lacking of late.

ETA: And I totally agree, that passion has always been such a big part of Chryed, it was really important to get it back, it was one of the big keys to start healing, wasn't it, and to get them back to the very core of THEM.

Agree with all this. I think it would have to be Christian initiating it coz of what's gone on before.

I'm presuming they consumated their marriage on the honeymoon (a few times) but I imagine that was a bit tame (by their standards :sleep coz of everythig that had happened (and Syed's secret but dont want to think about that too much coz it hurts), and then when they got back things were a bit tense and off, then they split up, so yes, like you say, this will have been the first time with real passion for a while. No wonder the place is a mess.
