I have no heart to watch EE anymore, not after the awful plot given to Chryed in the last eight months. I'm not saying I won't ever watch it again, but I really don't see the point now. I'm not even bothered about Derek dying and I still don't care about Kat and her shadow. Instead of watching the live ep, I'm gonna try and watch some classic Chryed to help me with the survey

Congratulations to Clarkey on OP

bib - Looks like the Masood family have taken over from Chryed in the "They've had more than 40 seconds screen time this month, we better 'rest' them for a while" trap I think I'll wait til half eight tonight to watch it and just watch Cora's story.

The Masoods have definately been underused this year - there's resting a character after a big storyline and resting a character 'chryed style' :sleep: They've not even been given any screentime this week to react to Syed and Christian being gone, Zainab especially will be feeling a bit low.

We got a new thread at last!

Sorry wasn't on yesterday. Still trying to work through all my muddled emotions.......I think for the next week, I'm going to keep having the same cycle each day.....first of all I'm elated they had a happy ending....then I can't stop missing them....I feel a definite sense of emptiness.....it's feels WEIRD. Then a little bit of anger at TPTB for all their treachery and all the disappointments and coulds and shoulds. Then I just feel all teary and emotional....then finally I feel happy again. Round and round I go!

Just done a huge catch up and got a few mentions to do....

Zoetje and Clarkey - I loved your big soppy emotional posts yesterday.....

Snowflaine, Shortiefluff and Cairogirl, lovely posts on the last thread reflecting on Chryed and your time on the thread.

Heartsick (no more!) - goodbye! Sorry I was not here when you made your last lovely post. It's been an amazing 3 and a half years. Thanks for all your contributions. Gosh it's sad now that some people have started to leave. I'll be here to at least Christmas though, and am going to re-watch the entire Chryed story from the beginning soon, and then I'll be able to do the survey - definitely want to re-watch all of it before I do the survey.

.......this scene! So yes, I think the passion had been submerged under looking after Yasmin, wedding preparations and Christian being so pally with Zainab. Syed off on a tangent, a bit lost and detatched from it all - and getting a bit muddled as all the family relationships changed again.

Well - there ends a huge catch up. I know we are bound to slow down from now on but I'll be on here regularly, posting and waffling away. Don't intend to go anywhere until after all the panto trips are over, and possibly the Hip.

It is sad to see people leave even if I completely understand. I know it's inevitable but I really hope this place will be going for a good while yet. I have had so much fun and learned so much from following all your discussions here, don't want that to stop yet... (I think I'm still sadder about that than about Chryed and Ellitridge leaving, actually) So I hope many of you will still be here, at least from time to time.

Have loved the discussions about different scenes, and I remember that I wanted to comment on something (I think mt) said about bedscene not being very sexual, and I agree totally. It was sweet, loving, warm, giggly, sensual to me, but not actually sexual. A scene like coming-come-walking-towards-bedroom-scene (does it have a Chryedian name yet?) is sexual (wonder if it got any complaints?), and of course the AB-floorscene from Thursday. It was right and needed that they had another scene like that before the end. Passion's all part of the healing for both of them I think, and therefore it was important.

Hi Star, you're welcome for the caps and gif! I'm feeling the same about the floor scene...the more I watch it the more I love it.

I don't know what I'm feeling right now...I don't even think my brain realises they're gone! It feels like a blackhole to me and I have no idea when it's going to sink in. I mean, I cried at their exit the first time but that was more at the scene itself, I think, rather than the realisation that they're gone for good. It's a weird feeling! Although I did get teary at the Rihanna song Alex posted on FB. :sleep: Farewell I think it was called?
Maybe it's just my happiness at them getting a happy ending that's stopping me from being upset? I dunno.

Would have to be Christian's chooza palek comment as he emerges from the bathroom just as Syed is saying how amazing he is. I know it's a cheap joke and toilet humour which isnt for everyone, but it makes me giggle.

I meant to say earlier that I agree with those who say the AB floor scene was somehow sexier than the bed scene after the proposal last year. It's probably down to a combination of low lightening, the camera mostly focusing on the boys head and shoulders, sadness being mixed in with happiness, Syed being cradled in Christian's lap and of course the sudden nature of the scene in general.

Gotta be the original reunion 16th July 2010. Yes I know the episode had a big hole in the middle, and Syed's revalation was cut down to a look or two, but thatlast scene, that let's go home moment, well, we'd all been waiting for that, for them finally to become a proper out in the open couple, and they did. How can that not make you warm and fuzzy?

Q3 Puddle of squee

Bed scene. FINALLY what we'd all imagined played out in fornt of our eyes. Blissed out, loved up Chryed. Yeah the dialogue's a bit clunky and it's not quite as in your face as last week but it's the first of it'skind and Chryed, naked in bed together -what's not to like. Last week was HOTHOTHOT, bed scene is more about the squee.

2nd The RBE sofa chat with Amira guilt but Chryed still being right. The look on Syed's face, just total adoration.
3rd The cafe scene with old Yasmin where Christian comes back from the night out. Hot men and a baby, that'll make me squee for sure.

Hmmm these ones are hard coz they're basically squee a bit then the next q is squeee a lot. Now it's hurt a bit followed by hurt a lot. I feel I should be answering the same thing for each but that cant be right
