Acts are allowed to stay in their "comfort zone" this series

It's one of the reasons it so bad this series and I think its contributed to the low ratings , they don't have to sing in a style they don't like. Its been the same most weeks with the various dirges from Jahmene, Ella, James, Lucy etc

That's why I'd like to see Big Band week back - even though James put his own spin on a Big Band song this week

i would love to see Jahmene do Rock Week, I'm trying to think of a rock song he could make a ballad out of, where he wouldn't object to any of the lyrics

Agree. I don't see why they should sing out there comfort zone. Eg if Jahmene's niche is RnB then keep him to that genre, don't give him disco to 'show he's versatile.'

Bring back Big Band. Do we know why they scrapped it?

Just because you're being versatile, doesn't mean you're a great artist or you're going to sell records, its a dead horse argument.

He would love Living on a Prayer (and with a choir behind him)

Good, nothing more tedious than them identifying someone's weakness and forcing them to parade it the next week with a "challenge", then criticising them for looking awkward or uncomfortable and seeing them in the bottom 2.

We do indeed : One Direction (and possibly Cher Lloyd). Big Band week would have meant 1D having to sing completely live and Cowell was having none of that.
