From the USA Erin Bode, she has a superb voice and has also been over in England as a guest on "The Danny Baker Show". She has her own backing group with one of which is her husband. Check her out on U Tube.

Kelly Clarkson really, really doesn't get the recognition she deserves!

The most underrated British female singer is probably Kirsty MacColl.

Absolutely, her cover songs for the Smokstack sessions to go with the Greatest Hits album are great!

I don't think so-Kirsty's music was always well-reviewed
when she was alive.

I also can't help but feel that Cyndi Lauper doesn't get the credit she deserves as a vocalist. Her voice is so versatile and unique. Ann Wilson is another one.

To me, LeAnn Rimes has only gotten better with age.

God bless you and her always!!!

Dolores O' Riordan of The Cranberries, she in my eyes always had a beautiful, haunting vocal which is often overlooked.

No one ever seems to mention Lynsey de Paul, and even gold stations ignore her records now. 40 years ago she had a massive hit with Sugar Me, wrote all her own songs, worked with Mott the Hoople and Barry Blue and wrote a lot of television music, but seems a non person now. It's a shame.

Nerina Pallot.
Regina Spektor.
Marina and the Diamonds.
Robyn.

Maybe not "most" underrated, but they deserve much more success than they have.
