This is a question that just popped into my head. Do you think the show was nervous about hiring someone who had taken part in the competition, to present the Xtra show? I mean... surely Olly now knows all about the intricacies of the show and the not-so-subtle producer editing to shove people about?

I mean... I think I'd be quite annoyed if I found out all the shunting the producers do knowing that I'd been part of that process only years previous. I get he owes his fame to the X Factor and maybe he's happy, I just think I'd struggle having gone through the process myself and watching the schemes behind the scenes to throw people under the bus.

He's gotta make his money somehow, 'cos he isn't gonna have that much of a career in bringing out singles/albums.

Did you see his vt? He is doing great with his music.

lol he's easily one of the most successful acts from XF. I think he's the only one other than Joe McElderry that managed to top their 1st album with the 2nd one?

Yet he's the ONLY X-Factor act to actually show growth in his success with his 2nd era outselling his 1st (very successful) era while the likes of Leona, Alexandra and JLS all practically halved their sales with their second releases?

Oh - and he's on track for his fourth #1 this week.

I didn't say he's not doing well at the moment, but give it another year or so, and I'm sure you all wont be saying the same thing.

I think this album will be his most successful one tbh.
