Could someone post a link to the official voting percentages?

Is there weekly updates?

No she didn't, Joe won that year.

The voting percentages (assuming you mean from this year?) aren't released while the show is ongoing, they're released as a whole with a week by week breakdown of each contestant's percentages once the final is done and dusted.

All judges to blame for Ella's exit.

The judges had plenty of opportunities to give Ella some honest critique but they kept blowing smoke up her arse, and it eventually cost her.

She warbles after every note, she continually sings in the wrong key, she couldn't hold the long notes, her song choices were awful, & she was boring as hell.

I honestly think that if the judges gave her some proper advice she could have gone further. I know we take the piss out of the "only 16" line. But she is only 16, she blatantly believes in her own hype & towards the end she came across extremely arrogantly.

Blames lies solely at the feet of the judges.

Ella may of had a great singing voice.. But that was it.. There was no personality coming through.. No entertainment..just stood singing.. She will change when she gets older I think.

ummm i didn't love ella. and from reading comments on this forum over the weeks certainly many felt the same as i did.
she didn't have an 'incredible voice' as someone above posted. she had a fairly good voice...with lots of bad habits and pretty limited range. nothing particularly amazing.

She was completely over hyped by the judges throughout the show - best singer since Leona? lol. The public could probably see through the hype. I also don't think she emotionally connects when she's singing. Yeah, she's a good technical singer but she never seemed to put her heart into it and mean what she was saying. She reminds me of these overconfident girls you get at stage schools and I got the impression she was very smug and believed she was going to win

Slowing down the Grease song didn't help either..

Every song sounded the same each week. Quite often took a fast energetic song and slowed it down as much as possible.

a big factor to her sounding the same each week was her fairly limited range..which some people refuse to accept. but sure enough that's one of the main reasons. most the songs were altered to fit in with her range. which caused many people to say that she should have sung it in the right key. missing the whole point that she couldn't . hence the changes. whenever a song got to a high bit you'd notice the errors coming in. in fact the DS live blog mentioned this yesterday.

I think she was in the bottom 2 for a few reasons:

1, The public assumed she was safe and didnt vote
2. Perhaps the public are voting out of spite of the show, and are trying to ruin it by keeping the likes of Rylan in.
3, Or maybe its away of getting back at Tulisa for having a bad series as a judge

I can't see how people think that the likes of Rylan were better than Ella!. I just can't work that one out, if this is why people put her in the bottom 2 then its pathetic!

yeah could be a bit of all that going on as well as people not liking her. wouldn't be surprised.

and yep as much as i wasn't a fan of ella's voice and have highlighted the issues with it, in context she still probably should have made it to the last 3, and as you say no way is rylan a better singer... that goes without saying.

Over-thinking much?

It happened to Janet last year, and it will happen again to all future over-hyped-early-1-trick-pony albeit good female vocalists.

Janet got screwed by the producers though. This was the opposite. The judges hyped Ella up so much it backfired.

Ella has a very powerful voice for a 16 year old, but I didn't find her particularly pleasant to listen to, far too many 'cracked' notes for my liking.

I hope she goes away for a couple of years, carries on writing her muisc, maybe one day she'll come up with a song the public will want to listen to but, above all, I hope she finds a bloody good vocal coach who can harness that power and turn her into the singer the judges kept kidding us she was..

agree with most of what you say apart from saying she has a 'powerful' voice. loud yes but not powerful as it lacks strength and control. resulting in things such as the 'cracked' notes as you put it.

because she just stood there and sang good most of the time?
We're board of watching the same thing week after week, year after year?
She's 16 and styled like a 40 year old?
Cowell didn't want to sign another girl singer who just stands there and sings ballads after the flop of Leona's last album?
The people who usually vote have switched off the x factor? 2 million + lost viewers from the same time last year? the least watched series of the show?
People have cottoned on to the fact that the show is rigged right from the rigged auditions to producers whispering in the panels ears telling them who to vote out each week?

I'm old and even I found her old fashioned. She has a good voice but I wouldn't have wanted to buy any of her albums. It's difficult to see who she would appeal to

It's because the viewers didn't like her as much as the judges and the programme-makers did. She's just not as good as she was made out to be.

She made everything sound like something off Songs of Praise. Too old for her years. Even the people I know who liked her at the beginning have gradually gone off her.

What's thinking got to do with it? Most people who voted "liked" of "felt" for the act they voted for. Yes there maybe some tactical voting going on, but do they "think" how much it's costing them?

Rylan is fun to watch. Ella was so boring and the same every week.

Haven't read the thread, but my answer to the OP: Leona Lewis

I think it's the hair, she has it up too often. It looks much nicer down. Fickle voters..

A good way of putting it, same for me. For a 16 year old they seemed determined for some reason to make her more like a Susan Boyle, both in song delivery and image (dress, makeup and hairstyle, ok maybe the dresses were shorter).

She peaked too early, and her performances the last couple of weeks have been a bit 'meh'. And I say that as someone who wanted her to win!

Because she practically murdered a musical classic from my childhood is my thought. Honestly, it was more like a funeral dirge! I'm not blaming her though. They are puppets on this show, they do as they are told/strongly advised. It was someone else's idea to do that with the song, and it really didn't work for me.

Ellla has a sweet enough singing voice but that's it. With experience she'll be better performance wise. I didn't rate her much on that score. She'll probably be better doing her own thing in her own way anyway once she can shake Syco off.

No one contestant is more entitled to win than another either, and quite frankly I'm dumbfounded by the fuss surrounding her elimination!
