Obviously it's annoying that two good singers have to battle it out, but surely that's the state of XF these days?
If you play with fire..you get burnt. Although the singers don't deserve it, their mentors do. |

I'm loving these comments that ignore the format.
This would happen whether Rylan was there or not, there can only be one winner. Rylan being in the competition doesn't change that. Rylan is getting more votes from the public than James and Ella. End of. |

The whole point of the vote is so that the public can decide who they want to see next week and people want to see Rylan. |

Nicole does, 3 acts in week 8, never done before!
Tulisa is probably bricking her pants especially after rumours that shes facing the axe. |

She only has herself to blame |

It's a shame Ella went home but Tulisa & Nicole are to blame, Tulisa saving Rylan and Nicole putting that joke act through in the first place.
They ignored Gary's wise words for too long and now those words came back to bite Tulisa in her ass. |

I really hope Rylan or Christopher wins now to teach the producers a lesson.

Nah, I know :P! It's just I feel sorry for Rylan cause he's getting the blame for something that isn't his fault! That's the format and it would happen with or without him. People vote for Rylan for whatever reason they want, they can't blame him because people would prefer to vote for him over Ella and James, etc.

There are 6 people left. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th all go through. Even if Rylan topped the vote, Ella or James could still have finished 2nd or 3rd or 4th and finished outside the bottom 2 and there is nothing that Rylan or his fans could do about it. But they didn't and that has nothing to do with Rylan.
End of. Yes, actually end of. I meant the judges (mainly Tulisa) had previous chances of getting rid of him, but she was too arrogant to fathom how it could affect her own act. She probably had Ella believing she had a pass in to the final too, judging by the look on her poor face. |

I have said for some weeks now, that if I was Ella I would be worried how tulisa was pushing people to vote for rylan. Last week she was standing up and dancing to him for gods sake. She has got what she deserves. What I object to is tulisa telling us that we are voting wrong as it is a singing contest. For weeks it's been an entertaining contest while Gary's acts have gone.

Yes but Rylan has been in the bottom 2 on 3 occasions and both tulisa and Nicole voted to keep him. It really wouldn't have got to this if they had not been trying to manipulate the public. I tell you people got fed up
It's not down to the judges to make a decision any more because they consistently back their own acts. Rylan is there because the public want him there. Quite frankly, because people dislike him (boohoo) doesn't mean that their opinions outrank everyone elses. |

Of course they don't, but they're not paid for their opinions, they're paid for their faces

But, I bet the lineup in the top 5 would be different if Rylan wasn't in the live shows.
Maybe the voters would have been voting for the best singer each week. |

Send through joke acts and this is the end result.

Its her fault Ella is out - a) for saving and promoting Rylan and b) giving her the worst possible version of one of the most classic songs ever written |

Maybe the voters would have been voting for the best singer each week. Next week: James Arthur: Take a song, slow it down and fill it with angst and pain (probably Abba - SOS or something) whilst he plays guitar and gets rave comments and shocked comments about his bottom 2 appearance. Jahmene: Motown? Wow, yeah. He'll pick something completely safe and suited for his voice (as per) and will then go up and down octaves like a game of snakes and ladders. Will act coy and shy. Rylan: MASSSSH-UP! Will be suitably crazy, entertaining and loads of props. No idea what will happen! Best thing since Lord Wagner! Prince Rylan! Christopher Phoney: Will sing something super cheesy, probably "The Winner Takes it All". Cabaret performance to the max. Poor comments from judges which will be backed up with the constant "I'm the people's choice." No, just no. Ella: If she'd still been in it, she'd sing something upbeat, except she'd slow it right down and turn it into a beautiful, heart-wrenching yet strangely emotionless performance. Rinse and repeat. |

There was 12 other contestants to vote for each week, Rylan being there doesn't stop them voting. I wouldn't be voting at all if Rylan wasn't in it. It's so predictable.

Union J: Cheesy but happy performance, something bland-ish but not bad, just forgettable. Likeable kids but they're too over-shadowed by One Direction, bless them. |
