Ella and James were NOT in the bottom two because:

People thought they were safe.
People were voting for the wrong thing.

They were in the bottom two because this isn't a singing competition it is an entertainment show and they failed to entertain enough people to vote for them.

Well those two reasons you gave are the only reasons I voted for anyone except James. You know what everyone said? "Jame's is definitely safe, so don't worry about sparing a vote for ..." How safe was he?!
