Usually I'd agree but he seemed very snappy in this episode. Of course I am aware of the editing - perhaps the powers that be want him out first?

I've disliked him pretty much ftom the start. Nasty moany, whiney man, who doesn't know how to smile. Say what you like about Helen, and I find her pretty irritating, but she never says a bad word about anyone, and is always cheerful.

I'm wondering the same. He was really rude to Rosemary after she cooked dinner. Let's hope the public give Helen a rest and start voting for Hugo.

I hoped the GBP would have voted for him to do the trial tonight. Of all the campmates, I dislike him the most. Whingy grumpy old git.

He just seems tired, hungry and unhappy. Some people get like that.

He was unpleasant in this episode. He was unfair on Rosemary who was trying to turn nothing into something but it required them all to lend a hand. He was the only person who was rude about the main meal which was a 12 star affair cooked by a proper chef - Rosemary really knows how to butcher animals and game, she does it on TV, so that was probably the first time ever that campmates have had a properly carved meat dinner.

He was pretty miserable and negative when he first came in.

I think he's someone who can only enjoy life if theres money being spent to get that enjoyment.

And some people try and bite their tongue and treat people with the same respect they'd want for themselves. Some people may very well 'just get like that' ... but it also leads to other people regarding them as negative, ungrateful, petulant arses.

Besides which, he seemed rather like that from the get-go as I recall (he seemed to take an instant dislike to Nadine) before he was overly tired or hungry.

He cried in the first episode, he is cracking and has done so for a long time. He wants to go home.

When Rosemary was trying to make something edible out of the rice and beans I thought 'okay, he's just hungry and needs a proper meal' but when he was still moaning after the full meal which I bet was lovely I just went off him a little.

I liked him for the first few days ,but after his rudeness to rosemary last night and his whiny moaning how the food was unpaletable and not fit to eat he just came across as an arrogant tosser :mad

I agree. Helen irritates me sometimes with the tasks, but you can't help but love her bubbly outlook on life. The only thing that could bring her down in the camp is the miserable whingebags.
