Live Shows, Week 8 - Themes: ABBA and Motown Classics
What TWO songs, one from each theme, would you like the remaining contestants to perform on next Saturday's Quarterfinal show?
Is there any particular songs you would like to hear in general? Here's some song choice ideas from each of the themes that the remaining contestants could perform - ABBA: From their Greatest Hits CD, ABBA Gold. 1. Dancing Queen 2. Knowing Me, Knowing You 3. Take A Chance On Me 4. Mamma Mia 5. Lay All Your Love On Me 6. Super Trouper 7. I Have A Dream 8. The Winner Takes It All 9. Money, Money, Money 10. S.O.S. 11. Chiquitita 12. Fernando 13. Voulez Vous 14. Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight) 15. Does Your Mother Know 16. One Of Us 17. The Name Of The Game 18. Thank You For The Music 19. Waterloo Motown - 100 Greatest Motown Songs. Ideas please?

Obviously, Rylan will be doing a mash-up, and thus slaughtering at least 2 of ABBA's songs, but would really love to hear him perform their album track "So Long" in the hope it will be prophetic.

Rylan should do a mash-up of Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie and Voulez Vouz. He's starting to remind me more and more of Erasure (obviously his voice isn't in the same league as Andy Bell's voice) and they've covered both these tracks. I think it would suit him perfectly.
