Who else doesn't like being told how to vote by Tulisa
Everyone has a right to vote for who they like, I find her and her music offensive but some people like it so it is their choice just like it is peoples choice to vote for the other acts that they like.
She had the chance to put Rylan out and didnt so it's partly her fault. |

Absolutely. Tulisa's judging this series has really shown up how young and inexperienced she is for the job. She saved and positively judges Rylan because she's mates with him, she saved that awful rap duo "coz you iz urban an' I iz urban innit" and last night she was down on UJ purely because she didn't like the original version of the song they covered ! SFW ?! Judge how they sang it. Your personal opinion of the original shouldn't come into it. Then she has the gall to berate the viewing public for voting for the wrong act! With any luck, Cowell will either doink her or get bored with trying before the 2013 series (assuming there even is one) and she'll be replaced (probably with Pixie Lott).

Everyone is allowed their opinions, including Tulisa, who is allowed to be annoyed at how people have voted.

To be told how to vote by someone who doesnt know Aretha Franklin anthems is just insulting.

I like Tulisa, but thought she was out of order telling people they were voting for "the wrong people". Such a rude thing to say. Why bother having a public vote if people can't be trusted to vote correctly?

Raising a good point here. Tulisa got away with it last year as she seemed involved with her acts and more real. This year she is less genuine / active and haunted by her decision (probably told to) to save Rylan. She has no credibility now and the press spend more time on her extracurricular activites than her acts.

I really liked her last year, but am finding her quite annoying this year. It was only a couple of weeks ago when she was saving Rylan claiming the show wasn't just about singing and it was an entertainment show... so she can't really complain that the audience didn't vote for the good singers.

Yep, I'm not a fan of the "Vote for the right people" line either. People can vote for whoever they want, there is no right or wrong. Everyone has different tastes and opinions. Just because the judges don't agree, doesn't mean anyone has been wrong to vote for who they voted for.
And when they say "Make sure you vote for your favourites" I don't think they understand that people are doing exactly that. It just happens to be that those favourites aren't the same as the judges' favourites. It's like when football managers get fined for picking a weaker team. Who decides who's weaker? Why make them have a squad of 25, if you're then going to turn round and say they can only pick a certain 11 players and no-one else? The judges picked 12 acts for the live shows, they can't then dictate which acts we should vote for, and which ones we shouldn't. |

If Tulisa has a worthwhile point it's only that potential voters who think their favourite performer is safe are quite likely not to bother voting, or at least not to put in many votes - why spend a fiver voting for someone you think is near the top of the poll anyway, when you could make use of it in some other way or save it for supporting them in the final? Some will have taken Ella and James for safe this week, while nobody who follows the show would have trusted to Rylan being safe.
Maybe releasing the weekly voting percentages or at least the weekly order would be a better way to go. Not that I mind at all the way this week worked out

I thought Tulisa was a bit idiotic last night regarding this even though I quite like her - it's up to us who we vote for

I have defended Tulisa, but saying "you can't just sit back and not vote for your favourite" was very cheeky.

They get too emotionally involved with their acts. Sure, be a mentor, but you don't have to become their blooming best friends. The panel of judges should be a different set of people than the mentors. That should sort the show out.

To me that comment is on a par with Gary saying that it's wrong that "as long as there are people like Rylan in the competition, good singers will be kicked out" - well, yeah. Good singers will always get kicked out, ultimately everyone gets kicked out/looses except for one act on the final.

People vote for the contestans they like, Tulisa needs to face facts Ella wasnt as popular asTulisa thought she was, every week giving the same boring performances and ruining songs then getting overratred by the judges.
I didnt like Ella but I didnt think she had the worst voice, though I won't miss her actually for me this year probably be the last time I watch X Factor every week, havent liked the contestants this year. |

She should grow up and not have a tantrum when she doesn't get her own way. If anyone is to blame it is her, the dreary song choices for the last 7 weeks did Ella no favours.
