Should the viewers now vote who goes through to judges houses
I think its time they changed the format and got the viewing public to vote who they think should go through to judges houses and then the public should vote who goes through to live shows because obviously the last two series have been a disaster with judges picking the wrong people, and no way would the viewers pick the joke acts so we could get a better quality of singers put through instead of seeing the good ones dropped

Interesting theory. But 'no way would the viewers pick the joke acts'? Rylans through to week 8

Interesting theory but Chris would have still made live shows as he was selected as a Wildcard & Joseph Whelan would have made it over Rylan & others who made JH too!

Isn't this how Pop Idol worked? There was a final 50 or so, then each week 10 would sing, and the public would pick 2 to go through to final? Or something like that. I liked that format.

I think the auditions should be the Judges' say, as there are hundreds of thousands of auditionees. Then the Judges get their categories and go to Bootcamp. They individually choose 8 acts and go to Judges' Houses to mentor, but lose their vote. The public vote for three of each category for free and the Judge chooses an extra one.

Yeah get rid of the Judges houses and have 2 extra weeks of live shows with a semifinal type thing. 8 boys sing one saturday, then after they have sung they have an interval (just someone famous plugging their latest single) whilst the public vote. After the interval the judges vote for one act to go through and then top 3 of the rest go through to the final. this is repeated on the Sunday for another category then again the next weekend for the other two categories. then after the finalists are chosen the judges are either randomly given their category by picking envelopes or they are randomly given an act from each category.

It would be exhausting for the public to have to vote day in day out for what happens. Let's face it, the auditions they show in the hall are for the people they want anyway and the poor (joke) ones are just there to give us all a laugh. I say no - let's just get to see more of the auditions good and bad and not in a damn auditorium. Surely the judges can make some decisions - they get paid enough!

I think the judges should pick the final 6 for judges houses then the viewers can vote on ITV's website for the final 3.
