Had a trail on netflix for a month as it was free..
After all the ads about how amazing it is..

Yeah it is amazing..
Amazing that you can't actually find anything you want to watch..

Big film like Bond are not there..

Even discovered that the scream series has the 4th one missing..

As as for classic tv shows.. forget it..

I will stick to getting a disc through the post from love film until online services improve..

Yeah I got Netflix and Lovefilm.

Your be surprised to know Netflix is actually better then Lovefilm when it comes to move selection (instant movies that is).

There is a new one called NowTV which I might give a go.

One thing which gets me the most is how old the films are, the ones you end up watching are the ones you remember to be classics, the ones you have already watched 50 times.

my 2 pennys.

You believe ads? That says it all...

However, I'm a happy Netflix subscriber, was before I started using unblockUS but that service just makes Netflix even better!

Each to their own.

Yea. Unblock US is amazing. £3 a month for access to all regions.

With Unblock its OK, if I spend time looking I can find something to watch. As a stand alone UK service its not up to much in my opinion.

Use unblock-us and you'll find that big films like bond are there as well as films that are bigger than bond.

i can still find stuff on the UK site to watch at the moment as well mind you. New tricks for instance, Relic hunter, Numbers and I see they got Roswell, i may have a look at that.

so plenty to watch on the UK site, depending what you want.

The only thing that have annoyed me is for some reason because I got windows 8, their site says I must use the windows 8 app and will not allow me to use my browser like i did in windows 7. Must be a way around that.

Most of the time I use my PS3 or wiii anyway, but sometimes i like to watch something up here on the computer,

Another one for this, Netflix UK is pretty crap but adding unblock-us into the mix makes Netflix worth every penny.

The TV selection on Netflix UK is IMHO excellent. If you're struggling then you must either have very different taste to mine or you're incredibly on top of stuff that is worth watching.

The film catalogue lets it down, which is a great shame. There aren't many recent titles available. I blame Sky as I believe they currently have a stranglehold over a lot of the rights.

Pretty much spot on. Sky have many UK exclusives and to a lesser extent so does Lovefilm.

I'll have to give Unblock a try. UK Netflix is rubbish for me.

You can get a free seven day trial, so you have nothing to lose.

Can you use unblock on a mac?

To echo the others unblock-us is a must for Netflix in my opinion. Makes so much more available.

Excellent? no, but it is good and even without Unblock Us I can still find a lot to watch on the UK site, unblock Us just makes it better.

I got the set up page of Unblock US, set as a favourite on my PS3 and just navigate to it and change the country , a couple of minutes job.

I think all the selections from Netflix and Lovefilm are naff - if i wanted to watch old movies i'd go down the pound shop.

Whilst they're charging extra for new films, i dont see the appeal.

What are you on about? For starters Netflix only have one subscription so where are they charging extra for newer Films? Lovefilm used to do this if you wanted to watch certain films online but this option is no longer available. But hey good luck with finding 50/50, Drive, 21 Jump Street, Submarine and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy in your poundshop.
