This year has been one long farce and i think people are voting for rylan, not on his ability to sing, but to pretty much give a two fingers up to the xfactor producers and the way they have treated the British public. If rylan wins, which he could, what will the record company do with him? Will he make the xfactor look like it now has zero creditability? Will the judges think twice about putting thru joke acts? Rylan not getting voted off in the first week has pretty much destroyed xfactor as a singing competition, now people will vote just to save him to make a mockery of the show!

I'm sure he does have a fan base of genuine fans. My overall impression 'tho is the bit in black.

Make a mockery of the show? The producers did that long ago when they started favoring some contestants over others. If it's not a level playing field, then what's the point?

i think rylan can have a very successful jedwardesq career. i dont know why people are voting for him or chris but you pays your money, you take your choice. a novelty act however may well be the straw that broke the camel's back

It could be the ultimate irony that Rylan, whether or not he wins, may make more money than any of the others left in the competition.

Selling "records" these days makes very little money for artistes. It is being able to put on a good show that matters. That's how Jedward have - in money terms - become one of the most successful X-Factor products.

Can't inagine anyone wanting to pay money to listen to James - other than in a pub. Christopher will be in big demand for cruise ships and could make a good living for the rest of his life. Jahmene will only appeal to those who like the sound of nails dragged across a chalk board! Union J are a nice boyband - amongst loads of others - but too much like 1D.

Rylan can put on a good show. People may pay money to see him miming to an autotuned soundtrack. I predict he will make more money than any of the above.

A bit unfair to Rylan. Others have done well from this "farce" of a talent show by being novelty acts/not amazing vocalists why can't he?

I have enjoyed Rylan's performances the last two weeks. He is really rising to the challenge now and going for it.

I have to say the same for Christopher.

i think so yes, viewers are turning off. this all its not about singing etc no your right its about the production having one act in there who by his own admission cant sing, but having great production has changed the competition.People arent interested no more.

Of course it's Rylan's fault. I'm certain if Wall Street crashes and the FT Index goes belly up, that will be his fault as well

I think its the fault of the producers and their insulting treatment of the public, also the bizarre decisions made by certain judges when it has came to the sing off ie keeping Rylan vs a good singer. The obvious anti Chris treatment by Xf insiders is pissing me off so Chris gets my vote, hes not my cup of tea but FGS get rid of the "overs" they are never going to be ALLOWED to win so be done with that catagory.
