My wife popped to Lidl today and came back with a box of Olive Ascolane. Not had them since we lived in Italy in the early 2000's.

For anyone that's not sure what they are, they are olives stuffed with a meat filling and breadcrumbed then deep fried. Even my wife loves them and she can't stand olives. Just need them to get fiore di zucca or supli/arancini in now!

Blimey, what kind of dedication would you need to have to stuff your own olives?

Never done them myself to be honest but I'd be happy to give it a go. Mind I am the person that once decided to make filo pastry. Never again!
