Wow, that sounds like a real rubbish idea to me. Watch TV, then SMS an order, then get a download code, then log onto a website, download, play?

iTunes, Real, etc all do this in three steps: logon, download, play.

Yes, but what it does do is bring awareness of music downloading to Mr Average Joe sitting in front of the box.

(Although I'm not sure how many "Average Joe"s actually subscribe to HomeChoice )

It will be interesting to see how these are priced and what selection is offered. If it's only the current ~3000 songs on V:MX then I can't really see the point.

I think Apple, iPods and iTunes deserve the credit for that.
