Reading a certain other thread this evening I found myself nearly throwing up.

BB5 according to the gospel of Saint Shell the Digital Spy member bears no resemblance to the Shell that we all 'enjoyed' watching and discussing just a few months ago ... the BB5 Shell.

Gone is the media wannabee who would throw an instant tantrum each and every time another BB5 housemate was the centre of attention. Gone is the wannabee glamour model that would set out to grab the camera's attention by getting her tits out & showing the world her arse in the hope that she would gain support from what is traditionally considered the 'non-feminist' lecherous male lobby. Gone is the game player who ruthlessly set up old Victor for eviction using the most appalling abusive language. Gone is the bully that picked on Ahmed when he was doing no more and no less than any other straight male would do when deliberately presented with a semi-naked young woman. Gone is the the precious one that looked down on Michelle's post-BB plans ... Gone, gone gone ...

Well, I remember Shell as she was. I'm proud to say that I didn't her like then and I don't like her now.

Victor was not one of my favourites, far from it as you know. But at least he was honest.

The other straight guys didn't act like Ahmed.

According to who? You & Shell? Well, I disagree.

What exactly did Ahmed do? I asked Shell last night precisely what form Ahmed's 'perving' had taken but she didn't reply.

I think it made Ahmed sleep about two hours longer in bed.

Can someone explain what a passive aggressive is.

Cos whatever it is, I don't think Shell can be a very obvious example of one.

That's just it ... Ahmed did no more & no less than any other straight bloke. The problem was that Shell didn't like him.

Hum yeah right.

And Hitler wasn't a very obvious example of a Nazi.

Ahmed wasn't shy about his "appetites"

Well yes, unless I missed something, I can't see any other explanation.

Shell was an 'aggressive aggressive' in the BB5 House. The 'poor little me' act was just that ... an act to win over viewers. There was very little that this woman was not prepared to do in order to secure a win.

I was really looking for an explanation. The penny starting to drop, with the discussion tuning to the topic of Ahmed.

What people are saying is, one 2 occassions, notably, Shell acted the victim, and thereby inspired others to do her dirty work for her. I'm not sure how valid an argument that is, but I can see how some would make it.

The thing is why didn't she like him? Why can't she explain?

passive-aggressive ... resisting the demands of others and seeking to manipulate them while avoiding direct confrontation

I think Ahmed was a generation too far removed from nearly all the housemates. And he was very graphic, on occassion, (and funny), about his voracious sexual appetite.

Cheers lulu. I wonder how new a concept it is.

Actually the definition has confused me more. Who doesn't resist demands? It sounds like a coping mechanism to me, which squares with Shell's by now well documented domestic turmoil.

Passive aggresive behaviour is often a coping mechanism born out of abusive situations, but it is, in iteself an abusive form of behaviour, and thus destructive to forming healthy relationships.

I think the key word is 'manipulate'.

Shell has had the same boyfriend for several years who she clearly adores. That sounds pretty healthy to me.

It was a competition for heavens sake! They all tried to manipulate at one point or another.

A break of 10 weeks doesn't sound co-dependant to me.

So your saying it's ok for Shell to belittle what real victims of perverts have to go through, just to win a gameshow?
