Also sometimes if everyone does really badly then they lower the boundary for grades.

Unless of course she was on schedule to get a drinking degree and the results were faked to make her and the college look better? But she would know that too ... as I stated, you basically KNOW what degree you are getting by the last semester

I didn't either. I knew how I'd done on assessed work.... but the exam results were an unknown quantity. I must admit I thought Shell's reaction to her results was genuine.... but I'm probably on the wrong thread here....

Don't you chat to your personal advisors? Surely you have some idea? Did you usually just get a pass ... or good results

Why don't you ask - if you are borderline, perhaps you can put in extra work to get a first ...but then again, perahaps you are just not bothered

im doing pharmacy and ive done 3 years already. Im in my fourth year but we dont get exams until may. I've done alright in my coursework but thats only worth 40% so i wont really know what i've got until i do the exams!

That's a great qualification to get. My niece is doing pharmacy too. Harder to get into than medicine.

Its really hard tho' and im not really clever or anything so i always end up havin to work really hard near exam time. I know for a fact if i graduate with a good mark i will be really chuffed so i see where shells coming from!

What I dont get about shell was all the posing in "lads Mags"
She is a very clever girl has a great body.. but seems to have been swept away with publicity.. & has IMO degraded herself... by posing in next to nothing in the mags & papers.

Scottish degree, wasn't it? A four year course. In which case, you do have a pretty good idea of what you'll get at the end of third year - if you maintain your standards.

The problem, if there is one, isn't Shell having a game plan, or being manipulative - it's going in on the "nice" card. Your behaviour really has to be above reproach if that tactic is going to work. If there are inconsistencies in your act, then people will notice them. Even if you loose your clothes as a diversionary tactic

I don't think so. After being naked to cheer people up for free, a little bird must have said to her "You fool, they would pay for it". So it was not next to nothing, cash-wise.

It was a massive over reaction.....When I got my final results I resisted the temptation to camera dance and then fling myself weeping into the nearest body of water....Maybe because I already knew what my results were, last semester and all that, and I bothered to put in the work. For my M.A. I was even more relaxed....I realise now I should have ran naked around the garden and onto the front pages of the tackier tabloids....

Talking of which...not Shell's fault....but when they call her "Art Historian" Shell should I insist that I be refered to as "Philosopher" Mesostim.....

but the thing is when they first went into the house they all said they would act a certain way in their audition tape basicallly it was there was of promoting themselves.
For example in stus audition tape he came across as really cocky , braggin about gettin 4 A alevels but from watching bb stu was probably the least arrogant contestant on the show this year!
Shells plea was to be "incredibly nice " and altho i do think she comes across as genuinely nice i also think some of what she said in her audition interview was just her way of promoting herself to the bb producers.

well maybe it depends on what course you are studying coz i really dont know what im gonna get.
At the moment im on a 2-1 but what i've done so far only counts for 20% of my final mark so i wont necessarily stay on a 2-1.

Apparently it's easy on Art History....you go on BB and you can turn up whenever you feel like it....
