I am your host, tvmad999, and over the next few weeks, I will be presiding over a battle royale between the past four series of the show.

Each judge has picked two live show acts and two acts that didn't make the live shows in the year they have been given, to ensure a fair balance between the talented and the talented that didn't get the break they hoped for. And for a fairer mix, each year has one act from the official X Factor categories (Boys, Girls, Overs and Groups)

The first live show begins Wednesday at 7:30pm (originally 8:30pm but it has been pushed forward by an hour at the request of Lyriccs). The theme for Wednesday's show is NUMBER 1 SINGLES!

Alright, pretty good acts! My fellow judges are not gonna make this an easy one for me, I can already tell

Looking forward to the start of this show and very excited for my team to show what they can do

PS Dammmm you Naruto, I wanted a last minute change of my team as I wanted to bring Misha B and Carolynne onto my team but you had already chosen Carolynne

Great line-up, but I'm a bit sad that Jade Collins didn't get picked.

But happy for Carolynne, fingers crossed she goes further than week 1 this time...oh wait, there's no Rylan here!

can't wait for this to start. Hmm I'm liking the '11 acts, closely followed by the '12 and a few strong ones in the other two as well

Seeing the comments I really feel like the 09's are the underdogs, but WATCH AND SEE!

The standard of acts looks great! Apart from my acts I am looking forward to Jade, One Direction and Ethan!
